A method for using a heated portable vacuum slurry box to efficiently store and transport material including drill cuttings from gas and oil well sites. The slurry box generally includes a vacuum tank, a structure attached to the tank, a vertical tailgate, and a hook for pulling the slurry box onto a vehicle. The features allow for the slurry box to be meet space restriction requirements at a well site while as well as function within the environmental conditions of winter and summer seasons. The method includes a preferred method to unload the slurry box.

A method and a system for purification of oil, said method comprising the steps of: —providing separation aid and oil to be purified to at least one sedimentation tank; —waiting for allowing a sludge phase to sediment to a bottom part of the sedimentation tank, said sludge phase comprising the separation aid together with impurities from the oil; —removing an oil phase not comprising said sludge phase from the at least one sedimentation tank; and —filtering said oil phase through a depth filter for removing any possible remaining separation aid and impurities.

FLUID TREATMENT SYSTEM AND PROCESS

A fluid treatment system is provided. A clarification reactor or chamber, configured for receiving an influent, is provided wherein separated water and separated solids may be formed from the influent while inside and/or outside the reactor. An influent inlet, positioned essentially at the top of the reactor, configured to allow the influent to enter the reactor is provided. A separated water outlet is provided, positioned essentially at the top of the reactor, that is configured to allow the separated water to exit the reactor. A solids discharge is also provided, positioned essentially at the bottom of the reactor, that is configured to allow the separated solids to exit the reactor. A downward angled baffle, positioned inside the reactor, is configured to deflect the separated solids towards the solids discharge.

A method for separating a drilling waste fluid, the method comprising: introducing drilling waste fluid into a thermal extraction chamber; allowing drilling waste fluid to flow longitudinally along two screws disposed within thermal extraction chamber, wherein each screw comprises a shaft, an orifice, and an internal heating element; allowing internal heating element to provide heat to thermal extraction chamber; allowing at least a portion of the drilling waste fluid to evaporate; removing evaporated fluid through a first outlet; removing solids through a second outlet. A thermal extraction chamber for separating drilling waste fluids, wherein thermal extraction chamber comprises: a barrel; a first screw; a second screw, wherein first screw and the second screw comprise a shaft, an orifice, a an internal heating element; an inlet port; a first outlet port; and a second outlet port.

Removing non-homogeneous ice from a fuel system

The presently disclosed embodiments utilize an ice separator vessel to trap ice particles in a non-homogeneous ice/fuel mixture flowing in a fuel system. A source of heat, such as heated fuel provided to the ice separator vessel, is used to melt at least a portion of the ice particles so that they do not enter the fuel system downstream of the ice separator vessel.

A scrubber for treating exhaust gas generated by combustion of biomass comprises a plurality of chambers each configured to apply a scrubbing medium to the exhaust gas for removing solid particles from the exhaust gas. A first chamber includes at least one nozzle configured to dispense scrubbing liquid in a sheet oriented transversely to a path of flow of exhaust through the first chamber. A second chamber defines a reservoir for containing a bath of scrubbing liquid and further includes a baffle configured to deflect the exhaust gas into the bath. A third chamber is arranged to support a sheet of solid filter medium spanning across the chamber.
