Heated tailgate device
This disclosure is directed toward a heated tailgate for use in cold climates. The heated tailgate may be used with a self-contained heated portable vacuum slurry box. The slurry box generally includes a vacuum tank, a structure attached to the tank, a vertical tailgate, and a hook for pulling the slurry box onto a vehicle. The heated tailgate provides that the slurry cuttings within the slurry box which are adjacent to the tailgate do not freeze and provides for a way in which the tailgate may seal to the vacuum box.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SEPARATING SURFACE MATERIALS FROM A FLUID USING ACOUSTIC PRESSURE SHOCK WAVES
A method of separating material, such as foam, sludge, oil or grease, at a fluid's surface, by applying acoustic pressure shock waves to the material and the fluid's surface such that acoustic pressure shock waves are propagated in liquid medium of the fluid and in gas medium above the fluid surface.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ACTIVATING AND DEWATERING SLUDGE USING ACOUSTIC PRESSURE SHOCK WAVES
A method of activating and dewatering sludge through application of acoustic pressure shock waves to wastewater.
Membrane cleaning and desalination with a membrane using acoustic pressure shock waves
Acoustic pressure shock waves are applied to a membrane in a fluid to prevent attachment of or dislodge biological or solid matter for membrane cleaning or desalination with a membrane.
PARTICLE SETTLING DEVICES
Settling devices for separating particles from a bulk fluid with applications in numerous fields. The particle settling devices include a first stack of cones with a small opening oriented upwardly or downwardly. Optionally, the settling devices may include a second stack of cones with a small opening oriented downwardly or upwardly. The cones may be concave or convex. These devices are useful for separating small (millimeter or micron sized) particles from a bulk fluid with applications in numerous fields, such as biological (microbial, mammalian, plant, insect or algal) cell cultures, solid catalyst particle separation from a liquid or gas and waste water treatment.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TREATING DRILLING FLUIDS
A mud cleaning system may include a system inlet carrying mud from a wellbore, a heater, a fluid separating system, and a system outlet carrying the mud to a holding vessel. The system inlet, the heater, the separator, and the system outlet may be fluidly connected such that mud flows from the system inlet, into the heater and the separator, and then out the system outlet.
Method to recycle plastics, electronics, munitions or propellants using a metal reactant alloy composition
This invention relates to a method and apparatus for recycling plastics, electronics, munitions or propellants. In particular, the method comprises reacting a feed stock with a molten aluminum or aluminum alloy bath. The apparatus includes a reaction vessel for carrying out the reaction, as well as other equipment necessary for capturing and removing the reaction products. Further, the process can be used to cogenerate electricity using the excess heat generated by the process.
CONCENTRICALLY BAFFLED REACTORS AND SYSTEMS THAT INCORPORATE THEM
In one embodiment, a concentrically baffled reactor includes an outer housing that defines an interior space, an inlet through which material can be delivered into the interior space, an outlet through which material can be removed from the interior space, and multiple concentric baffles within the interior space that define multiple concentric reactor zones through which the material can sequentially flow to the outlet.
ANIMAL BYPRODUCT RECOVERY SYSTEM
A system for recovery of animal byproducts and providing water reuse from an animal processing plant waste stream. In one embodiment of the invention there is an equalization tank forming part of an animal processing plant that is mechanically filtered to recover animal byproducts from a water mixture in the equalization tank. In another aspect of the invention there is a skimmer tank that contains a skimmer mixture with water and animal byproducts. The system mechanically separates the animal byproducts from the skimmer mixture in a manner that is suitable for human consumption. The system also allows the separated water to be reused in the animal processing plant.
PREBIOTIC FORMULATION
A method of generating an oligosaccharide encapsulated cannabidiol (CBD) formulation includes forming a cannabidiol ethanol mixture comprising ethanol and cannabidiol, forming an oligosaccharide CBD slurry by mixing the oligosaccharide with the cannabidiol ethanol mixture. The slurry is heated and mixed in a pressurized chamber to form a colloidal mixture, which is distributed into a tray as a layer. A cover is added to the tray to form an evaporation vessel, which is heated in a heating chamber. A rapid cooling process is performed on the colloidal mixture layer by removing the cover and spraying pulverized dry ice on the layer. The rapid cooling process is repeated until crystal formation is detected within the layer, the crystals including oligosaccharide encapsulated cannabidiol. An oligosaccharide encapsulated cannabidiol formulation includes cannabidiol and at least one oligosaccharide in a ratio in the range between about 1000:1 to 2200:1 (w/w) of CBD.
