LIQUID FILTRATION MEDIA CONTAINING MELT-BLOWN FIBERS
A filter and filter media configured and arranged for placement in a fuel stream is disclosed. The filter and filter media allow for filtering of liquid fuels, such as diesel fuel. In certain embodiments the filter media includes a media fiber, such as melt blown polyester; and a scaffold fiber, also such as such as melt blown polyester, having a larger diameter than the media fiber. The media and scaffold fibers combine to create a media structure having low solidity and relatively low compressibility, and which contain a pore structure that avoids premature fouling of the filter by fuel degradation products.
Sprayer Filtering System
A filtering apparatus is configured to receive pressurized fluid from a pump. The filtering apparatus has a main inlet, a main outlet, and a filtering branch comprising a first filter. An agitator of a tank from which the pump draws is configured to receive fluid flow from the filtering branch via a proportional valve and an inlet connection. A method of operating a filtering system includes influencing fluid flow from a tank to one or more nozzles via a filtering apparatus; and diverting a portion of the fluid flow through plural filters of a different mesh size back to an agitating mechanism through a lower portion of the tank.
Water treatment dispensing apparatus
A cartridge for use in a water purification apparatus and a water purification method for maintaining a water quality supply are provided. The cartridge comprises an elongated tubular body having first and second ends comprising a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, and an internal chamber extending between the first and second end. The first end includes an end cap having a first opening in fluid communication with the body. A disinfectant material is disposed in the internal chamber of the body. Filters are disposed in the elongated tubular body adjacent to the first opening and adjacent the second end of the elongated tubular body and are in fluid communication with the internal chamber and the fluid outlet. The second end of the elongated tubular body comprising an exterior surface having a tapered portion and a linear portion adjacent to the tapered portion.
Filter device
A filter unit is provided for filtering a liquid. The filter unit is intended to be connected to a cap including a first liquid passage and a second liquid passage 114. The filer unit includes: a canister; and a filter cartridge rotatably arranged within the canister, the filter cartridge includes a first filter connection for liquid to pass through, the first filter connection is intended to be connected to the first liquid passage in the cap, wherein the canister is intended to be rotatably attachable to the cap such that, when the canister is attached to the cap by a rotating action, the filter cartridge is stationary to the cap.
Date seed powder for water filtration treatment
Systems and methods for generating and using a water filtration media containing date seed powder are provided. The method of generating the date seed powder for use in a water treatment system includes drying the date seeds, cleaning and removing the date seed envelopes, grinding the date seeds, and segregating the date seed powder according to a predetermined particle size. The method of using the date seed powder to treat water includes using a treatment tank with a date seed media bed layer, introducing water, and filtering suspended solids from the water stream using the date seed media bed layer. The system utilizing the date seed media bed layer includes a treatment tank, a date seed media bed layer, water inlets and outlets, backwashing equipment, and media support screens.
METHOD AND PACKAGED SYSTEM FOR FILTERING WATER
A system for reconditioning contaminated water includes a plurality of filter tanks, each filter tank configured to hold a media mixture comprising media particles to which contaminants adhere when the contaminated water is pumped through the filter tanks and a feed water pump to pump the contaminated water through the plurality of filter tanks. The plurality of filter tanks are configured to form a multistage filter system for filtering the contaminated water at different contaminant particle sizes, and the feed water pump pumps the contaminated water through the multistage filter system in a continuous manner during a normal filtering mode.
Method and Apparatus for Water Filtration
A method and apparatus for filtering fluid for a food processing system is disclosed and includes a fluid inlet, a filtered outlet, a drain outlet, two filters-each having inlets, inlet valves, drain outlets, drain valves, filtered outlets, and return valves. A first recycling flow path includes an inlet valve, an inlet, a filter, a return valve, and a filtered outlet. A first drain flow path includes the inlet valve, the inlet, the filter, the drain valve, and the drain outlet. A second set of like flow paths for the second filter is provided. A controller is connected to control each of valves, and the controller has a first filter purge module, a first filter filter module, a first filter power purge module, a first filter off module, second filter purge module, a second filter filter module, a second filter power purge module, and a second filter off module.
POST FILTER SET CONFIGURATION FOR A WATER TREATMENT OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE METHODS
Embodiments described herein relate to a post filter set configured as parallel post filter branches. Each post filter branch includes a post filter, an upstream multi-position valve, and a downstream multi-position valve. Each the upstream and the downstream multi-position valves are actuatable to at least two configurations to enable backwashing and filter to waste operations using fewer valve operations. For backwashing, a head pressure from the combined output of other post filters in the post filter set is leveraged such that backwashing a particular post filter can be performed as a pumpless operation.
FILTRATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a device, a system, and a method for filtering liquids, in particular for filtering gray water such that it can be reused for multiple purposes. Also provided is an optional step of purifying the liquid with a chemical such that the filtered liquid is also potable.
