A recess plate designed for use in a filter device for filtering a suspension includes a stationary head piece and a movable end piece, and a pack including copies of the recess plate, having a filter chamber inside the pack, adjoining the recess plate, having a first pipe for filling the suspension into the filter chamber, having a filter cloth for collecting a solid content out of the suspension, and having a second pipe for discharging a liquid fraction of the suspension out of the filter chamber as a filtrate, wherein the filter device may be closed before filtering by forcing the end piece in direction of the head piece, and opened after filtering by releasing the end piece, and moving the end piece away from the head piece for removing the filter cake from the filter cloth.
Filter core and manufacturing method thereof
A filter core and manufacturing method thereof, the manufacturing method has the following steps: adhering a wavy filtering sheet and a flat filtering sheet, pressing the filtering sheets, and rolling the filtering sheets. A part of peaks of the wavy filtering sheet are pressed to lean toward a same side. In particular, two sides of a first end sealing adhesive layer are pressed. Thus, the first end sealing adhesive layer is concentrated, such that the glue is uniformly spread to the two sides. Besides, the pressing on the two sides makes the two sides of the first end sealing adhesive layer adhered securely, thereby preventing the wavy filtering sheet from rebounding upward and forming bubbles. Thus, the first end sealing adhesive layer can be formed with less quantity of glue, which accelerating the cooling and raises manufacture efficiency.
Method and apparatus for forming fluted filtration media having tapered flutes
A method form forming fluted filtration media is provided. The method includes forming fluted filtration media having a repeating pattern of flutes wherein at least one flute in the repeating pattern of flutes comprises at least one ridge in a flute period between adjacent same side peaks, the flutes showing a tapered cross sectional area.
SURFACE COATED FILTER AND METHOD
A filter element is provided. The filter element includes a filter media pack including an outer surface. The outer surface extending between a first flow face and a second flow face. The filter element also includes a polymeric coating applied to the outer surface of the filter media pack, wherein the polymeric coating is not a molded structure. In embodiments, the polymeric coating covers at least 25% of a span between the first flow face and the second flow face and has an average thickness of between 0.005 and 0.100 in. In other embodiments, the polymeric coating has a surface roughness of at least 50 ?in to provide an outer gripping surface. A method and system for applying the polymeric coating to the filter element are also provided.
FILTER ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
The invention relates to a filter element for a filter press having at least one press plate with a first filter side and a second filter side, both filter sides being connected by a central channel, the filter element comprises a first part of filter material to be disposed in the first filter side of the press plate and a second part of filter material to be disposed on the second filter side of the press plate, wherein the first part and the second part of filter material are connected by the connection tube to be inserted into the central channel of the press plate. According to the invention, the connection tube comprises a tube body having an inner diameter, an outer diameter and a substantially wall thickness, wherein at least at one end of the connection tube a ring-shaped front face is formed having a width according to the wall thickness of the connection tube, and one part of filter material is directly fixed on the ring-shaped front face of the connection tube. Furthermore, the invention relates to a filter press and a method for producing such a filter element.
Filter and Method of Preparing the Same
A filter and a method of preparing thereof are provided. The method includes the steps of providing a precursor that includes a binder and an active composition containing a filtering material and a nano silicon material; and heating and pressing the precursor to obtain the filter. In the filter thus obtained, the filtering material is bound with the nano silicon material through the binder.
SURFACE COATED FILTER METHOD
A filter element is provided. The filter element includes a filter media pack including an outer surface. The outer surface extending between a first flow face and a second flow face. The filter element also includes a polymeric coating applied to the outer surface of the filter media pack, wherein the polymeric coating is not a molded structure. In embodiments, the polymeric coating covers at least 25% of a span between the first flow face and the second flow face and has an average thickness of between 0.005 and 0.100 in. In other embodiments, the polymeric coating has a surface roughness of at least 50 ?in to provide an outer gripping surface. A method and system for applying the polymeric coating to the filter element are also provided.
MICROPLASTIC FILTER FOR A WASHING MACHINE
A microplastic filter (also referred herein as fluid filter) for a washing machine has a filter housing, a first filter screen, a second filter screen, an inlet opening 16, and an outlet opening. The inlet and outlet openings communicate with each other through the first filter screen to define a direction of fluid flow. The first filter chamber has a retentate outlet, is particularly easy to handle if the second filter screen is arranged in a cavity of the filter housing, the inlet and outlet openings communicate with each other through the second filter screen, and the retentate outlet is arranged on a side of the second filter screen that faces the fluid flow.

Fluid filter apparatus having filter media wound about a winding frame
A filter apparatus and method utilize a filter element having a central winding frame and a length of fluted filter material wound about the frame with the flutes of the media oriented substantially longitudinally, to thereby provide for filtration of a flow of fluid passing axially through the filter element. The winding frame is a substantially open, truss-like structure, having a smooth outer periphery and an axially extending winding feature to facilitate pulling the media into intimate contact with the smooth outer periphery during fabrication of the filter element. A leading edge of the filter media is anchored to a leading edge of the frame by a length of tape.
