An assembled support for supporting an adsorbent according to an embodiment of the present invention may include two or more core members configured to be coupled in the longitudinal direction and configured to include: a cylindrical body configured to have a plurality of first partitions formed therein to enable ventilation; at least one pair of first coupling protrusions configured to be provided on the rim of one end of the body to face each other; and at least one pair of first coupling protrusion receiving portions configured to be provided on the rim of the other end of the body to face each other, wherein the first coupling protrusions of one core member are received in the first coupling protrusion receiving portions of another core member in order to thereby couple the core members to each other, and wherein the surfaces of the core members are coated with hydrocarbon adsorbents.

Heat activated adhesive for filters that may contain multiple elements

A filter element comprises one or more several tubular filter media element segments, which may be pleated filter media ring segments. One or more heat activated disks are used to connect each tubular filter media element segments together and/or to connect tubular filter media element segments with one or more end cap supports. The heat activated disks are solid in form for assembly with tubular filter media ring segment and then heat activated to bond with tubular filter media ring segments. Multiple end caps can be simultaneously bonded to one or more tubular filter media element segments if a filter stack assembly of component are heated together, such as in an oven. Filter media may also be simultaneously cured. Heat activated disks may be used as pleat stabilizers and/or for and/or as part of end caps.

Sterilizing method and apparatus

A sterilization container for retaining surgical instruments in a sterilizer comprising a plurality of walls defining an interior volume sized to receive at least one instrument tray, least one of the walls defining a venting pass through area, and a filter occluding the venting passage area, wherein a ratio of the venting pass through area to the interior volume is at least 1 square inch:125 cubic inches.

Modular fish tank filter components
12356966 · 2025-07-15 ·

A modular filtration assembly for a fish tank, the assembly having one or more identical modules with a filter material receiving chamber, and complementary couplers on a front and back of each module where the couplers on the back of a module couple with the couplers on the front of an immediately adjacent module. The back is slotted to allow water to flow through the module. The assembly includes a buffer module that couples to a pump on one side and to an immediately adjacent module on an opposite side. The one or more modules or the buffer module may include an L-shaped lip sized and shaped so as to create a recessed mating structure allowing an immediately adjacent module to further couple to the buffer module or to another module. The front-back couplings are maintained during pump operation by water pressure from the pump.
