Filter for extruder press
A solid/fluid separation module and press enables treatment of solids with enclosed fluids to generate a filtered mass having a solids content above 50%. A split filter module with first and second filter blocks clamped together for forming barrel sections or filtering sections is disclosed for use in a solid/fluid separating device including a barrel and a conveyor screw in the barrel. The split filter module permits replacement, maintenance, or repair of the filter blocks without disassembly or the separating device, or removal of the conveyor screws.

DYNAMIC SEPARATION AND FILTRATION
A modular, compact, mobile, dewatering and liquid-liquid separation and filtration system. The system processes incoming influents of slurries, solids and liquids at a high speed of operation and in large volumes. System is capable of being modularly scaled, allowing for a continuous steady state operation accommodating any slurry flow rate in a synchronous dynamic equilibrium process. Components and modules integrated into the system include a dynamic filtration clarifier 101 (DFC), a nested-filter dewatering cell 115 (NDC) and/or a compression filter press 125 (CFP). The DFC performs the primary dewatering phase of separating the primary water from the solids creating sludge. The NDC further breaks apart the solids of the sludge, removing interstitial water in a secondary dewatering phase, further lowering the moisture content of the sludge, while the CFP removes the tertiary water from the remaining solid particles by pressing the particles into a solid cake.
Method for operating a filter press and a filter press
A method of operating a filter press, wherein filter material is fed into a filter chamber so as to form a filter cake between at least two sides of a flexible said filter medium. Filtrate is received from the filter chamber and the filter cake formed the filter chamber is discharged. Prior to discharging the filter cake, compression is applied on the filter cake formed within the filter chamber by providing compression fluid gas at a compression pressure exceeding a prevailing pressure within the filter chamber, directly on a side of the filter medium exterior to the filter chamber, so as to exert said compression pressure directly on said side of the filter medium, thereby causing the filter medium to yield against the filter cake.
Methods And Systems For Processing Dredge Spoils
Methods and systems including processing dredge spoils to reclaim soil therefrom. The techniques may include a feed system for receiving dredge spoils, a dewatering system for removing water from the dredge spoils, and a grinder/mixer for grinding the dredge spoils from the dewatering system while mixing the dredge spoils with one or more additional materials.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR FORMING MOISTURE ABSORBING PRODUCTS FROM A MICROCROP
The present disclosure relates, according to some embodiments, to an absorptive solid (e.g., an animal bedding) produced from a microcrop such as Lemna. An absorptive solid of the present disclosure may comprise (i) an odor-absorbing amount of chlorophyll, and (ii) a carbohydrate extracted from a microcrop, the carbohydrate itself comprising at least some of the odor-absorbing amount of chlorophyll. A process for generating an absorptive solid may comprise the actions of: (i) lysing a microcrop consisting of at least one photosynthetic aquatic species to generate a lysed microcrop; (ii) separating the lysed microcrop into a solid fraction and a juice fraction; (iii) separating the solid fraction to form a solid; and at least one of: (a) milling the solid to generate an absorptive powder, (b) shaping the solid to generate the absorptive pellet or an absorptive granule; and (c) extruding the solid to generate an absorptive extrudate.

Method for recovering sugar solution prepared by saccharification of biomass
The present invention relates to a method for effectively recovering a sugar solution containing glucose and saccharogenic residues after saccharification using an acid or a saccharification enzyme of a wood-based or algae biomass, and a device for implementing the method. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method capable of recovering a sugar solution using minimal equipment and water after aggregating fine particles by adding a protein suspension to a suspension of glucose and saccharogenic residues which are produced by saccharifying cellulose by adding an acid or saccharification enzyme to the biomass, while capable of minimizing an amount of saccharide lost in the residues, and a device for implementing the method.
