STAGED FILTRATION FEED SYSTEM
20200207638 · 2020-07-02 · ·

The present invention relates to a method for treatment of a slurry comprising a liquid and particles suspended in the liquid. The method comprising the steps of providing a slurry to be treated; subjecting the slurry to a separating stage in which the particles of the slurry are divided into at least two subsets, a first subset being generally less difficult to dewater than a second subset; feeding a pressure filter with a flow of the first and second subsets, wherein in a first feeding step, a major part of the flow is defined by the first subset and in a subsequent second feeding step, a major part of the flow is defined by the second subset.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A FILTER PRESS AND A FILTER PRESS
20200179830 · 2020-06-11 ·

A method of operating a filter press, wherein filter material is fed into a filter chamber so as to form a filter cake between at least two sides of a flexible said filter medium. Filtrate is received from the filter chamber and the filter cake formed the filter chamber is discharged. Prior to discharging the filter cake, compression is applied on the filter cake formed within the filter chamber by providing compression fluid gas at a compression pressure exceeding a prevailing pressure within the filter chamber, directly on a side of the filter medium exterior to the filter chamber, so as to exert said compression pressure directly on said side of the filter medium, thereby causing the filter medium to yield against the filter cake.

PRESS ASSEMBLY FOR PLANT-BASED MILK
20200155977 · 2020-05-21 ·

A press assembly and a method for producing plant-based milk may include coupling a tubular filter to a receptacle, the tubular filter having an open first end, a porous wall, and a closed second end. Plant-based raw materials are placed into the filter. The raw materials are pressed toward the closed second end of the filter using a standalone plunger having one or more wiper blades conforming to an inner periphery of the tubular filter, such that liquids of the raw materials pass through the porous wall of the tubular filter and into the receptacle. After the pressing operation, residual solids may be easily removed from inside the filter. This may be accomplished by removing a stopper from the bottom end, and expelling the solids by extending the one or more wiper blades through the opening.

ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A FILTER PLATE AND AN ATTACHMENT PART

An assembly comprising a filter plate for filter press and at least one attachment part, wherein the filter plate has a filter chamber boundary surface, by means of which a filter chamber to be formed in the filter press can be bounded. At least one channel for a fluidic connection to the filter chamber boundary surface is formed in the filter plate, and the attachment part is detachably fastened to the filter plate at the channel by means of at least one detachable ball-type snap-in connection. The ball-type snap-in connection comprises at least one ball pin and at least one coupling. An assembly comprising such a filter plate for a filter press and at least one attachment part, in which the attachment part is detachably fastened to the filter plate by means of at least one ball-type snap-in connection and has an opening which is arranged in the channel.

AUTOMATED WASTE WATER RECYCLING SYSTEM USING ADVANCED ELECTRO-COAGULATION UNIT
20200095149 · 2020-03-26 ·

An automated waste water treatment system includes a collection tank constructed to hold waste water, a first flow line connected to the collection tank to output the waste water from the collection tank, an electrocoagulation unit that receives the waste water and outputs the waste water as coagulated waste water to a flow line, a polymer dosage tank to provide a polymer dosage into the flow line where the polymer dosage mixes with the coagulated waste water to produce and output flocculated waste water. A clarifier connected to the flow line receives the flocculated waste water and produces sludge-free waste water and concentrated sludge, a series of filters to output filter-treated water, and an ultrafiltration system that receives filter-treated water and outputs ultrafiltration-treated water to a reverse osmosis system.
