RECONFIGURABLE SPA FILTER TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING FILTERED WATER FOR SPAS AND HOT TUBS
A method for treating water in a spa or a hot tub includes, for example, suspending a water treatment dispenser from an upper end of a filter cartridge disposed in a skimmer of the spa or the hot tub. The dispenser includes a water treatment material. A supply of water is passed from the spa or the hot tub into the skimmer and through the filter cartridge so that the dispenser suspended in the filtered water in the filter cartridge is operable to dispense the water treatment material from the dispenser, and a supply of treated filtered water from the filter cartridge is returned to the spa or the hot tub. A cover, for example, may be employed when the dispenser is not used.
ANTI-VIRAL COMPOSITIONS AND METHOD OF KILLING VIRUS
A method of inactivating a virus that includes the step of contacting a virus with an antiviral composition comprising a hybrid antiviral metal-associated amyloid fibril comprising metal nanoparticles on a surface of an amyloid fibril to contact a virus and an antiviral composition comprising metal nanoparticles on a surface of an amyloid fibril wherein the antiviral composition removes virus and bacterial contaminants in water or air to non-detectable levels when water or air comes into contact with the antiviral composition.
LIQUID FILTER ARRANGEMENT AND METHODS
A filter cartridge includes a threaded sleeve having a seal holder recess and seal member. The filter cartridge is for removably threading onto a filter head that includes threads for connection to the filter cartridge by way of the threaded sleeve. The filter head includes a ramp that engages the seal member to form a seal. The force needed to make the seal is a torque of less than 10 N-m.

Filter systems, elements and methods with short-range wireless tracking features
Aspects herein include filter systems including short-range wireless tracking features to detect insertion and/or removal of filter elements from filter systems. In an embodiment, a filtration system is included having a housing including a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The housing can define an internal volume. A first filter element can be removably disposed within the housing. A short-range wireless communication tag can be associated with the first filter element. A short-range wireless communication reader can be associated with the housing, the reader configured to wirelessly send data to and receive data from the tag when the reader and the tag are at a distance that is less than or equal to a maximum communication distance. Removal of the first filter element from the housing can cause the distance between the tag and the reader to exceed the maximum communication distance. Other embodiments are also included herein.

FILTER CARTRIDGE
A filter cartridge for a household appliance, which is provided with a filter housing, the wall of which separates a housing internal side from a housing external side. A filter inlet opening which in the operation of the filter cartridge is open in relation to the external environment of the filter housing is provided, wherein a device for water conduction which comprises at least one filter chamber having at least one filter medium and terminates in a filter outlet opening for suctioning water from the filter cartridge is provided in the interior of the filter housing downstream of the filter inlet opening relative to the flow direction during operation, and wherein a filter connection element having an annular filter port which has an annular filter fixing face for the tight connection of the filter cartridge to a tank fixing face in the water tank is provided.
Carbon capture adapter
The present disclosure relates to a carbon capture adapter that may attach to high air flow systems. A carbon capture adapter may utilize the air flow foundations of a high air flow system to allow for capture of unfiltered ambient air, allowing for carbon removal and the scrubbing of the unfiltered ambient air. The carbon capture adapter may comprise of carbon sensors that may detect carbon levels of the air before and after the carbon has been scrubbed or removed from the ambient air. The carbon capture adapter may capture and transform the carbon into secondary substances that may be useful unto itself, even further limiting waste and environmental damage. The carbon capture adapter will have all inputs, outputs, processes, and flows that meet all aspects of a closed loop system that is specifically designed for CCS.
