FAUCET-MOUNTED WATER FILTER WITH ADJUSTABLE FILTERED WATER STREAM DIRECTION
20250296018 · 2025-09-25 ·

A faucet-mounted water filter features a filtered water stream with an adjustable direction. It has a main body and an outlet body positioned as an extension thereof. The main body has an elongated cylindrical portion with the replaceable water filter cartridge inside thereof and an extension portion for attachment to a kitchen faucet. A planar edge of the main body is positioned at an inclination angle of between 45 degrees and less than 90 degrees to a longitudinal axis of the cylindrical portion. The outlet body has an outlet wall positioned at the same angle. The outlet body is rotatably mounted on the body water passage via a curved outlet water passage extending through the outlet body to the filtered water outlet. Rotation of the outlet body causes a change in the direction of the filtered water stream.

Valve Arrangement for a Filtration System

The application relates to a valve arrangement for a filtration system. A valve assembly includes a valve body. The valve body includes a first central wall defining a first valve opening, a first fluid passageway, and a valve central opening, and a valve wall defining a second valve opening and a second fluid passageway. The valve assembly includes a first valve member disposed at the first valve opening. The first valve member is selectively repositionable between a first valve member first position, where the first valve member engages the first central wall such that the first valve member forms a first seal that substantially prevents a fluid from flowing through the one or more first fluid passageways, and a first valve member second position, where the first valve member disengages the first central wall such that the fluid is permitted to flow through the one or more first fluid passageways.

FILTER VALVE ASSEMBLY

A filter assembly includes a manifold having a fluid inlet and outlet, and a filter housing having a filter medium therein. The filter medium defines inner and outer filter chambers between the filter medium and the filter housing. The filter housing is removably attached to the manifold to provide a fluid flow path from the inlet into the inner filter chamber via a supply channel, through the filter medium into the outer chamber and out of the outlet. A bypass valve assembly bypasses flow through the filter medium, which includes one or more openings in a wall of the supply chamber and a corresponding one or more flaps associated with respective openings. The flaps are moveable from a closed to open position in response to a pressure differential across the flap exceeding a predetermined value, and return to the closed position when the pressure differential is below the predetermined value.

Backflow-preventing filter module

A backflow-preventing filter module includes a filter unit and a backflow-prevention valve. The filter unit includes a filter cartridge that has a connector formed with an annular groove, and a filter shell that defines an accommodating space and that includes a connecting head. The connecting head has an inner surrounding wall defining an annular slot. The backflow-prevention valve is sleeved on the connector, and has a fixing portion disposed in the annular groove and an abutting portion moveable between an open position, where a distal end of the abutting portion is pushed by water to be away from the inner surrounding wall so that the annular slot is not blocked, and a closed position, where the abutting portion is expanded to abut the distal end thereof against the inner surrounding wall, thereby blocking the annular slot.

Electronic device and method for detecting filter status

A method for detecting filter status is applicable to an electronic device including a filter, and the method includes the following steps. In response to activation of the electronic device, timing is started and an accumulated operating time is obtained. In response to the accumulated operating time being greater than or equal to a time threshold value, a level of dirtiness of the filter is detected through an optical sensing element. The time threshold value is adjusted according to the level of dirtiness of the filter. A notification related to the filter is provided according to the level of dirtiness of the filter.

Batch-type apparatus for filtering

A batch-type filtering apparatus includes: a first flow path; a second flow path configured to communicate with the first flow path; a third flow path configured to communicate with the first flow path; a fourth flow path configured to communicate with each of the second flow path and the third flow path; an external port configured to communicate with each of the third flow path and the fourth flow path; a first direction switching valve configured to allow at least two from among the first flow path, the second flow path, and the third flow path to communicate with each other; a second direction switching valve configured to allow at least two from among the third flow path, the fourth flow path, and the external port to communicate with each other; and a flow cell.
