CONTROL VALVE APPARATUS
A strip-shaped filter in the shape of a circular arc is arranged at a port opening portion of an oil passage, the port opening portion being in maximum proximity to a spool hole portion or a valve element, to prevent a contaminant in the oil passage from reaching the spool hole portion or the valve element. A groove portion is arranged to extend in a circumferential direction in a wall surface of the upper body which defines the spool hole portion. The port opening portion is defined in the groove portion, and is connected to the oil passage. The filter is housed in the groove portion to close the port opening portion defined in the groove portion.
MESH FILTER
In an injection-molded mesh filter, a mesh member for filtering out a foreign substance from a fluid includes: a plurality of horizontal bars; a plurality of vertical bars perpendicular to the horizontal bars; and a rectangular opening defined by an adjacent pair of horizontal bars and an adjacent pair of vertical bars. The horizontal bars and the vertical bars have a substantially ellipsoidal cross-sectional shape. Also, the opening is formed of smooth side faces of the adjacent pair of horizontal bars and smooth side faces of the adjacent pair of vertical bars and the opening at the upstream side of the fluid flow direction flows the fluid in a smoothly-squeezing manner, and the opening at downstream side of the fluid flow direction flows the fluid in a smoothly-expanding manner.
Waste Beverage Container with Ice Separator
The present invention creates a unique method to recover ice from waste beverages. This invention could be especially useful for restaurants. Water reclaimed by the invention could be used to maintain lush vegetation thereby differentiating the restaurant from its competitors in the desert climate. The inventor estimates that about 60 gallons of water per day will be recovered from a typical fast food restaurant with this invention.
CONDENSER RECEIVER DRIER REFRIGERANT FILTER
A receiver drier comprises a housing and a filter unit. The housing includes a moisture absorbing chamber and a longitudinally spaced filter chamber. The filter chamber includes an inlet formed adjacent a first portion of an inner circumferential surface thereof and an outlet formed adjacent a second portion of the inner circumferential surface. The filter unit is received within the filter chamber and includes a main body defining a first filter compartment therein. A first surface of the first filter compartment is defined by a first screen element fluidly coupling an interior of the first filter compartment to an exterior thereof. The flow of the refrigerant enters and exits the first filter compartment while flowing in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the receiver drier.
Septic tank filter system
A septic tank filter system includes a tank. The tank includes an inlet and an outlet, wherein the outlet is disposed on the tank below the inlet to enable a flow of wastewater to be gravity fed from the inlet to the outlet. A filter is positioned in the tank. The filter includes a frame. A filter media is disposed on the frame. The filter media is operable to filter the wastewater of waste material as the wastewater passes therethrough. A top opening is disposed on a top portion of the frame. A bottom of the top opening is located above the tank outlet and below the tank inlet. When the filter media is not clogged, a level of the wastewater remains below the top opening. When the filter media is clogged, the level of the wastewater rises until the wastewater flows over the top opening.
FILTER AND FILTERING ARRANGEMENT
A filter for filtering pyrolysis oil and an arrangement. The filter is a split-flow filter (1, 1a, 1b), comprising a filter element (12), comprising plurality of apertures (17) extending through the filter element (12), a receiving channel (13) for receiving a flow (F) of pyrolysis oil to be filtered and for supplying said flow on first side (A) of the filter element (12), a main discharge channel (14) arranged on the first side (A) of the filter element (12) for discharging the portion of the flow (F) of pyrolysis oil having not penetrated through the filter element (12), and a filtrate channel (15) arranged on second side (B) of the filter element (12) for discharging the portion of the flow (F) of pyrolysis oil having penetrated through the filter element (12).
Truncated Filter Capsule
Filter capsules for showers and sinks used in surgical settings, clean rooms and other contaminant-sensitive settings having modified outlets for improved splash control. Flat, concave, convex, asymmetric concave and asymmetric convex outlet inserts have pluralities of fluid bores with varying orientations to permit enhanced fluid flow control out of the filter capsules including divergent, convergent and mixed divergent/convergent fluid flows. An inlet with an axis offset at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the filter capsule body permits user control over the fluid flow strike point in a sink or shower stall via rotation of the capsule about the inlet connection point. A recessed outlet improves the prevention of contaminant dispersal by recessing the outlet away from contact points and potential contaminant sources. A filter cartridge top cap includes a downwardly extending extension with a concave bottom end to redirect fluids undesirably entering the filter capsule from the outlet away from the enclosed filter media and out the outlet.
Device For Filtering A Plastic Melt
A device for filtering a plastic melt, including a housing and a filter pin which is axially and/or radially movable therein. In a working position of the filter pin, plastic melt passes from an inlet channel, through a filtering mechanism, which is detachably fastened to the filter pin, to an outlet channel. In a filter change position of the filter pin, the filtering mechanism is freely accessible for replacing the filtering mechanism, and wherein at least one drainage channel is formed in the filter pin. In a start-up position of the filter pin, one end of the at least one drainage channel is in fluid connection with the at least one inlet channel in order to receive the plastic melt that is fed through the at least one inlet channel and to output the plastic melt at another end of the at least one drainage channel.
Safety grate cover for a swimming pool
A grate cover in combination with a swimming pool being installed in a recess in the top of a sump. The grate is formed of an upper and a lower section. The upper section exhibits four squares or four triangles therein, The upper section has a dome-shaped configuration and has four square or triangular shapes therein, depending on the geometric division therein, each shape has openings therein. The lower section has four trapezoid shapes therein. Each of the shapes of the upper section, whether square or triangular, has a concave surface curvature therein at a transition between the upper and the lower section. Each of the trapezoids of the lower section has two concave surfaces- curvatures therein. One curvature extends in a first direction from the upper section toward an outside edge of grate cover. The other second concave curvature extends in a direction which is normal to the first direction. This way, the forceful suction within the sump cannot obtain enough force to suction the skin of a human onto the grate cover to cause any injuries. The curvatures in the top of the grate cover will always induce a lateral flow under a human body no matter how much of the grate is covered by the body.
CLOTHES TREATMENT APPARATUS
A clothes treatment apparatus is disclosed. The clothes treatment apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a cabinet, a tub and a drum, and further comprises: a column part, which is provided on the surface opposite to one surface of the drum, protrudes toward a drum opening, and has a space formed therein; and a filter part which is provided inside the column part, and which filters out foreign material in water flowing into the column part, wherein the filter part includes: a filter body part extending in parallel with the column part, and including a filter surface facing the inner peripheral surface of the column part; and a filter-fixing part coupled to the inner peripheral surface of the column part so as to fix the filter body part to the inside of the column part.
