A filtration and collection device capable of improving the collection rate of filtration targets. The filtration and collection device may include a holder having an inlet port for pouring a liquid, a discharge port for discharging the liquid, a flow path through which the inlet port and the discharge port communicate, and a groove portion formed on an outer periphery of the holder, a filter disposed in the flow path of the holder and having a plurality of through-holes, and one or a plurality of grip sections having an insertion portion that is inserted into the groove portion, in which a gap is formed between the groove portion and the insertion portion.

FILTRATION SYSTEM WITH DUAL LIP SEAL

Various embodiments relate to a filtration system. The filtration system includes a housing having a drain. A filter element is positioned within the housing. The filter element comprises a first endplate and a second endplate. Filter media is positioned between the first endplate and second endplate. A dual lip seal member is coupled to the second endplate. The dual lip seal member includes a first protrusion that extends radially outward around an outer surface of the dual lip seal member. A second protrusion extends radially outward around the outer surface of the dual lip seal member. The dual lip seal member is configured to prevent fluid to be filtered from exiting the housing through the drain when the filter element is in an installed position. The dual lip seal member permits residual fluid to exit the housing through the drain when the filter element is displaced from the installed position.

INJECTION MOLDED SCREENING APPARATUSES AND METHODS

A disclosed screening apparatus includes a subgrid, and a screen element attached to the subgrid via laser welding at a plurality of attachment positions such that, under vibrational excitation, the screen element has a pre-determined profile of vibrational motion relative to the subgrid. The screen element may be attached at a maximal number of attachment locations to the subgrid to minimize relative motion of the screen element and the subgrid under vibrational excitation, or the screen element may be attached a sub-set of the maximal number of attachment locations to allow vibrational motion of the screen element relative to the subgrid. A disclosed method may include attaching a plurality of screen elements to a respective plurality of subgrids, attaching the plurality of subgrids to one another to form a screening pre-assembly, and cutting edges of the screening pre-assembly to form the screen assembly having a perimeter with a pre-determined shape.

Separating solids from liquids in a drilling fluid

A drilling fluid shaker screen system includes a screen assembly that includes a screen including a plurality of screen sections. A first screen section includes a first screen mesh size and a second screen section includes a second screen mesh size different than the first screen mesh size. The drilling fluid shaker screen system further includes a rotation assembly mounted to the screen assembly. The rotation assembly includes one or more rollers moveable to rotate the screen assembly about an axis of rotation. The drilling fluid shaker screen system further includes a motor assembly coupled to the screen assembly and configured to vibrate the screen assembly. A housing includes a cuttings outlet that is fluidly coupled to a cuttings inlet formed in the screen and a liquid outlet separate from the cuttings outlet that is fluidly coupled to the plurality of screen sections.

A water recirculating system for power sluices includes a first filtration unit, a second filtration unit, and a third filtration unit. Each filtration unit is equipped with a debris catcher and a filter that to clean the dirty water that discharges from the power sluices. A tailings catcher is integrated into the first filtration unit to receives the dirty water that discharges from the power sluices as the first stage of filtration. Then, the debris catchers and the filters clean the dirty water as the first filtration unit is in fluid communication with the second filtration unit, and the second filtration unit is in fluid communication with the third filtration unit. Resulting clean water that enters into the third filtration unit is then pumped back into the power sluices thus allowing a quantity of water to recirculate through the power sluices.
