FILTERING SYSTEM
20220249988 · 2022-08-11 ·

Disclosed is a filtering system used in any pool filtrations, filtration of taps or building entrance hot and cold use water, filtration of city water before osmosis filtering devices, filtration of heating and cooling mechanical plant systems, and filtration of cooling water in hydro-electric power plants. The system provides for forming a vortex inside a filter by directing and increasing speed of filtered liquid and thus providing decreasing pressure on the filter surface and collection of filtered particulates in a particulate accumulation chamber. The system also provides for automatic cleaning of the filter by reverse flushing, without the need for dismantling, by differential pressure sensors based on rate of contamination.

Systems and methods for predicting engine fuel filtration system service cycle

A method for predicating a service life of a fuel filter includes causing a fuel pump of a fuel system to direct fuel through a fuel filter of a fuel system. The method also includes receiving work cycle data from machines that implement a same or similar fuel system. The method further includes receiving, via sensors of the fuel system, fuel system data and determining, from the fuel system data, a pressure difference across the fuel filter. The method further includes determining, based on the work cycle data, predicted load cycle data for the fuel system and determining, via a filter life model, a filter service interval representing an amount of time the fuel filter is operable in the fuel system prior to the pressure difference reaching a predetermined value.

DRAINAGE PASSAGE INCLUDING FILTER AND WASHING MACHINE HAVING THE SAME

A washing machine including a drainage pump to discharge water from a tub of the washing machine through a drainage passage, a first filter to which the water flows due to the drainage pump and provided along the drainage passage to filter out foreign matter equal to or greater than predetermined size, and a second filter to which the water flows from the first filter and provided along the drainage passage and to filter out foreign matter smaller than the predetermined size, wherein the drainage passage includes a first connecting hose to guide the water to flow from the tub to the first filter, a second connecting hose to guide the water to flow from the first filter to the second filter, and a drainage hose to guide the water to be discharged from the second filter to the outside of the washing machine.

Processes for filtering liquids using single pass tangential flow filtration systems and tangential flow filtration systems with recirculation of retentate

Methods of filtering a liquid feed are disclosed. In one version, the method comprises passing a liquid feed through a single pass tangential flow filtration (SPTFF) system and recovering the retentate and permeate from the system in separate containers without recirculation through the SPTFF system. In another version, the method of filtering a liquid feed, comprises passing a liquid feed through a tangential flow filtration (TFF) system, recovering permeate and a portion of the retentate from the system in separate containers without recirculation through the TFF system, and recirculating the remainder of the retentate through the TFF system at least once. The methods can be performed using an SPTFF or a TFF system that comprises manifold segments to serialize the flow path of the feed and retentate without requiring diverter plates.
