Filter Pad
A filter pad for use in a dewatering container is presented. The filter pad is configured to fit within the interior cavity and substantially line the interior surfaces. Material, which is usually liquids and slurries, is added to the container with the filter in place and gravity is used to filter the sediment, while the water is released through a release nozzle. The solids are retained in the filter pad for later disposal. The filter pad has a portion that can be selectively opened and is configured for placement substantially adjacent the door to permit selective egress of contents of the interior cavity.

Pressurized vapor cycle liquid distillation
Embodiments of the invention are directed toward a novel pressurized vapor cycle for distilling liquids. In some embodiments of the invention, a liquid purification system is revealed, including the elements of an input for receiving untreated liquid, a vaporizer coupled to the input for transforming the liquid to vapor, a head chamber for collecting the vapor, a vapor pump with an internal drive shaft and an eccentric rotor with a rotatable housing for compressing vapor, and a condenser in communication with the vapor pump for transforming the compressed vapor into a distilled product. Other embodiments of the invention are directed toward heat management, and other process enhancements for making the system especially efficient.

PUSH FILTER WITH FLOATING KEY LOCK
A filter housing assembly for fluid filtration which may be attached to, and removed from, a filter base by a push-actuated release. The filter housing assembly has a top portion with an ingress port and egress port extending therefrom, and a protrusion extending from the filter housing longitudinally axial center. The ingress and egress port are formed in an hourglass shape. A filter key having a base with a groove for mating with said projection, at least one finger extending from said base, and an electronic circuit component housing attached thereto for receiving a printed circuit board, is connected to the filter housing top portion by mating said top portion protrusion with the filter key groove. Both of said ingress and egress port have at least one cavity for the passage of fluid therethrough, where each cavity is exposed in a direction facing away from the printed circuit board.

Refrigeration Appliance And Filter Cartridge For Same
A filter cartridge for a domestic cooling appliance includes a beaker-shaped housing which is provided at an open end with a coupling for securing to a filter head, and a particle filter insert which is received in the housing. The particle filter insert is guided movably along an axis of the housing between an abutment position, in which it is embedded completely in the housing, and a position in which it at least partially protrudes from the housing. A domestic refrigeration appliance having the filter cartridge is also provided.
REUSABLE FILTER SYSTEM
A reusable fluid filter unit is disclosed. The reusable fluid filter unit encloses a filter and is removably connected to a manifold. In an embodiment, the filter unit includes an end cap that is detachable so as to replace the filter inside the filter unit. In an embodiment, the filter unit may include embossments or other structures that depress a mechanical valve in the manifold when the filter unit engages the manifold.
