OIL FILTER
An oil filter assembly is disclosed for a machine, such as an internal combustion engine, that has an oil output port and an oil input port. A mounting plate may be fixed with an outer enclosure and may be adapted for securing to the machine. The mounting plate may be further adapted to conduct oil from the machine into a peripheral portion of the outer enclosure, and then returning oil from a central portion of the outer enclosure back to the machine. Oil may pass from the peripheral portion to the central portion through a primary filter having a first porosity. A pressure-actuated valve may be fixed fluidly between the peripheral portion and central portion of the outer enclosure. Oil may pass through the pressure-actuated valve only when an oil pressure differential between the peripheral portion and the central portion of the outer enclosure exceeds a predetermined threshold pressure. A secondary filter may have a second porosity greater than the first porosity, and may be fixed fluidly between the pressure-actuated valve and the central portion of the outer enclosure.

A filter cartridge (30) comprising a substantially tubular filter wall (33) and a support plate (32) fixed to an end of the filter wall (33), where the support plate (32) comprises a hooking body (34, 2120) rising from a surface of the support plate (32) opposite the filter wall (30) and defining a profiled surface (3410,3411;2130,2131) substantially perpendicular to the central axis of the filter wall (33) and defining at least two corners (3412,3413;2132,2133) proximal to the central axis, which exhibit different distances from the central axis of the filter wall.
Fluid Filter for a Motor Vehicle and Filter Cartridge for a Fluid Filter
A fluid filter for a motor vehicle includes a filter housing and a filter cartridge which is disposable in the filter housing. The filter housing has a housing pot and a covering element where the filter cartridge is connectable to the housing pot by rotating around a longitudinal axis of the filter cartridge. A holding element having a web is disposed on an end plate of the filter cartridge where the web protrudes from a wall of the holding element and where the wall is formed to be spiral shaped radially to the longitudinal axis. The web of the holding element is engageable behind a holding web in a mounting position of the filter cartridge where the holding web projects at a constant distance from a wall, formed to be spiral shaped radially to the longitudinal axis, of a counter bearing disposed on the housing pot.
Fluid Filter for a Motor Vehicle and Filter Cartridge for a Fluid Filter
A fluid filter for a motor vehicle includes a filter housing and a filter cartridge which is disposable in the filter housing. The filter housing has a housing pot and a covering element where the filter cartridge is connectable to the housing pot by rotating around a longitudinal axis of the filter cartridge. A holding element having a web is disposed on an end plate of the filter cartridge where the web protrudes from a wall of the holding element and where the wall is formed to be spiral shaped radially to the longitudinal axis. Filter apparatus with ejection arrangement
A filter cartridge including catches for ejecting the filter cartridge from a filter housing as the filter cartridge and filter housing are removed from a filter base is provided. The catches are configured to engage corresponding catches of the filter base to limit axial motion of the filter cartridge as the filter cartridge and filter housing are threadedly removed from the filter base.

Engine oil system and a lid
The invention relates to an engine oil system (1, 1′, 101) for supplying oil to oil using components (3) in a vehicle (800). The engine oil system comprises an oil pan (10) for holding oil received from the oil using components, an oil pump (20) fluidly connected to the oil pan for pumping oil from the oil pan to the oil using components, and an oil filter (30, 30′ 130) configured for cleaning the oil. The oil filter has a filter inlet (32, 32′, 132) for receiving oil to be cleaned, and a filter outlet (34, 34′ 134) for discharging oil from the oil filter. The oil filter is arranged in the oil pan such that, in use, the filter outlet discharges oil into the oil pan.
Engine oil system and a lid
The invention relates to an engine oil system (1, 1′, 101) for supplying oil to oil using components (3) in a vehicle (800). The engine oil system comprises an oil pan (10) for holding oil received from the oil using components, an oil pump (20) fluidly connected to the oil pan for pumping oil from the oil pan to the oil using components, and an oil filter (30, 30′ 130) configured for cleaning the oil. The oil filter has a filter inlet (32, 32′, 132) for receiving oil to be cleaned, and a filter outlet (34, 34′ 134) for discharging oil from the oil filter. The oil filter is arranged in the oil pan such that, in use, the filter outlet discharges oil into the oil pan.
