Device, system and method for obtaining and/or for clarifying wort and other media in the beer brewing and beverage industry and corresponding uses
Device (V) for obtaining a wort (WO) from a mash (MA) in the beer brewing or beverage industry, at least comprising a receiving unit (AG) for receiving the mash (MA); at least one separating device (T; T1, T2) each having a surface (FA; FA1, FA2); wherein the surface (FA) has a multiplicity of openings (OP); wherein the device (V) is preferably suitable for separating the mash (MA) into the wort (WO) and a residual mash (RM) by means of the surface (FA) of the separating device (T); wherein the surface (FA; FA1, FA2) or a part thereof can be brought into contact with the mash (MA), if the mash (MA) is present in the receiving unit (AG) for separation into the wort (WO) and the residual mash (RM); and wherein, during the operation of the device (V), the surface (FA) is arranged such that it is moved or can be moved or can be rotated relative to the mash (MA), the residual mash (RM) and/or the receiving unit (AG).
Pond pump with a self-cleaning filter unit
A pump-and-filter assembly for use in a pond, pool, or fountain. The pump unit creates a flow of water into an intake port and out through a discharge port and a filter unit mounted in front of the pump unit for filtering water flowing through the pump. The filter unit has a turbulence-producing device that produces turbulence in the water on the outside of the filter element. The turbulence in the water that is being drawn into the filter impedes or prevents the build-up of material deposits on the outside surface of the filter element.
Handheld vacuum cleaner
A handheld vacuum cleaner includes a dirt separator. The dirt separator includes a chamber having an inlet through which dirt-laden fluid enters and an outlet through which cleansed fluid exits the chamber. A disc located at the outlet rotates about a rotational axis and comprises holes through which the cleansed fluid passes.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING OF HARVESTED CANNABIS PLANT MATERIAL
The present technology is directed towards providing an apparatus, system and method for the cost-effective extraction of compounds of interest, such as CBD and THC, from freshly harvested cannabis plant material. The system includes a processing module with a tank that has a flow path to a separator. The tanks are filled with a cooling agent and cannabis plant material which is immersed and agitated to break up the plant material. The filtered outflow from the tank is a filtrate of a mixture of cooling agent and broken up plant material that is transferred to the separator to separate out at least some trichomes containing the compounds of interest.

ROTARY DISC FILTER HAVING A BACKWASH SYSTEM THAT INCLUDES A COMPACT NOZZLE SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A rotary disc filter having a backwash system that includes a series of feed pipes that project into and between successive filter discs that are mounted on a rotatable drum. Connected to an outer terminal end portion of the feed pipes is a series of nozzle holders. Each nozzle holder includes a main conduit, a series of branch conduits that project outwardly from the main conduit, and a connector for connecting the nozzle holder to a respective feed pipe. A series of detachable nozzles are secured to the outer terminal ends of the branch conduits.

DEVICE FOR TREATING AN EFFLUENT AND METHOD FOR TREATING AN EFFLUENT
A device for treating an effluent composed of liquid and of solid particles to obtain a treated effluent includes a filtration device using gravity separation on a rotating cloth having an inlet intended to receive the effluent to be treated and a first and a second outlet, the filtration device being designed to separate the effluent into a first flow and a second flow, the second flow comprising sludges comprising solid particles, the first flow leaving the filtration device through the first outlet, the second flow leaving the filtration device through the second outlet, and at least one recirculation device designed to recirculate at least a part of the sludges of the second flow to the inlet of the filtration device, the second outlet being linked to the at least one recirculation device. A method for treating an effluent is also provided.
CONTROLLING VACUUM IN A HORIZONTAL PAN FILTERING DEVICE
A method for continuously filtering a liquid slurry, such as an oil sand and solvent slurry, in a horizontal pan filtering device is provided. In particular, separate filtrate receivers are built under the wet and the dry sectors of a pan filter to take advantage of the liquid seal at the wet sectors so that the solids in the slurry can be compressed by having a higher vacuum under the wet sectors.
PART SEPARATOR CLEANING APPARATUS
Embodiments herein relate to part separation and cleaning devices. In an embodiment, a part separation and cleaning apparatus is included having a liquid holding tub defining an interior volume. The liquid holding tub can include a bottom pan defining a center aperture and an outer perimeter, a perimeter wall attached to the bottom pan adjacent to the outer perimeter thereof and a center sleeve attached to the bottom pan over the central aperture and extending upward away from the bottom pan. The apparatus can further include a motor and a drive shaft. An indexing plate within the liquid holding tub can be connected to the drive shaft. The indexing plate can rotate and can include a plurality of discrete compartments. A control circuit can be configured to cause the drive unit to initiate an indexing movement in response to a received signal. Other embodiments are also included herein.
