Disc filter pre-screen dual media disc filter
According to various aspects and embodiments, a system and method for two-stage filtration is provided. The system includes an inlet fluidly connectable with wastewater, a first stage filter assembly that is fluidly connectable with the inlet and has a rotary drum with a filter surface configured for radially inward fluid flow, a second stage filter assembly that is fluidly connectable with the first stage filter and has a plurality of filter discs configured for radially outward fluid flow, and an outlet fluidly connectable with filtrate generated by the second stage disc filter assembly.
Water reclamation system and method
A system may include a catch tray coupled with a flow distributor. A mesh screen and carriage may be positioned within the catch tray. A drive bar may be coupled with the carriage and a pitman arm. A gear box may be coupled with a motor and the pitman arm. A process may include distributing contaminated fluid onto the mesh screen. A screen plane of the mesh screen may be at a screen angle that is oblique relative to the direction of the force of gravity. The screen plane is defined by a top surface of the mesh screen. The process may include moving the carriage in a reciprocating linear motion by rotating the pitman arm, and spraying a liquid onto the mesh screen. Liquid may flow through the mesh screen forming clarified liquid, and contaminate may move along the top of the mesh screen to a contaminate outlet.
Filter employing stack of filter disks
A filter for filtering a flow of liquid a filter assembly with a number of filter disks coaxially arrayed along a central flow path within a pressure vessel. Each filter disk has a number of segments. The segments are preferably implemented as spacers with outward-facing filler screen support configurations supporting first and second filter screens. The filter screen support configurations have a cellular form that is open over a majority of a surface area, An arrangement of support ribs are deployed to maintain a spacing between the first and second filter screen support configurations. At least 80 percent of an internal volume of each of the segments is preferably open to allow liquid flow from the screens to the central flow path. Also disclosed are modular structure's of the filter disks, and a backwash arrangement which performs a spiral scanning motion across the surface of each filter disk.

Method of securing a screen to a basket of a vibratory separator using a magnetic wedge
An apparatus including a basket of a vibratory separator configured to impart motion to a screen, a wedge angle coupled to the basket, and a wedge configured to engage with the wedge angle to secure the screen within the basket, in which a portion of the wedge is magnetic.
Continuous Rotary Plate Filter and Methods of Use Thereof
The present disclosure provides for a continuous rotary plate filter apparatus and a method of using the apparatus to separate slurries into liquids and solids. The methods and apparatus are useful for the production of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals, particularly using Integrated Continuous Manufacturing (ICM), but can also be integrated with other manufacturing processes, such as batch and semi-continuous processes.
INTEGRATED, AUTOMATED POSSUM BELLY
An integrated possum belly having a raised filter portion and collection troughs is disclosed. A fluid flow such as a drilling fluid can contain unwanted material such as gumbo which can clog pipes and other equipment. The fluid flow is deposited onto the raised filter portion that has sloped sides with openings in the sloped sides. The fluid passes through the openings and is collected, while the gumbo and other debris remains on the filter and is collected and discarded. Sensors and a controller can be used to automate aspects of the operation of the possum belly including the opening of the filter.
Systems and methods for recovering blood cells, in a controlled environment, for storage
Systems, apparatus, methods, and articles of manufacture provide for resuspending and/or collecting blood and/or other types of cells in solution. In one embodiment, cells may be recovered from used surgical sponges and/or other types of surgical articles (e.g., and stored for later use).
A Dewatering Device and a Tensioning Apparatus for a Belt Conveyor
A tensioning apparatus including first and second take-up devices configured to engage opposing ends of a roller of the belt conveyor, wherein each take-up device, a linear guide including a rod and a bearing which slidably supports the rod for linear movement of the rod relative to the bearing, wherein the rod includes a mounting bracket at or towards its distal end for connecting to a shaft of the roller; and a linear actuator comprising: a stationary part coupled to and stationary with respect to the bearing of the linear guide, a moving part coupled to the mounting bracket of the linear guide, and drive means for moving the moving part relative to the stationary part such that the rod of the linear guide slides relative to the bearing.
