Hydro excavation vacuum apparatus
Hydro excavation vacuum apparatus that process spoil material onboard the apparatus by separating water from the cut earthen material are disclosed.
METHOD OF FILTRATING LIQUID, AND FILTRATION APPARATUS FOR FILTRATING LIQUID
A method of filtrating liquid, the method comprising conducting a liquid through a filtering element, through an outlet line downstream of the filtering element and to a collection volume downstream of the outlet line; controlling a differential pressure of the liquid over the filtering element; and controlling a passing time of a filter flow of the liquid through the filtering element in conjunction with the differential pressure; wherein the control of the differential pressure and the passing time comprises controlling a collection volume liquid flow of the liquid out from the collection volume; and controlling a gas flow out from the collection volume. A filtration apparatus for filtrating liquid is also provided.
Systems and processes employing wet/dry suction filter
Water or wastewater filtration systems and processes have a filter tank having a floor and sidewall defining a filtration zone, an influent conduit, and an effluent conduit. One or more filtration members in the tank having filter media, and one or more cleaning members adjacent at least some portions of the filter media. Generating an effluent stream by generating a pressure differential across submerged portions of the filtration media, causing water in the influent to flow from outside to inside the submerged portions of the filter media. A prime mover rotates the filtration members. A blower and chamber for creating a reduced pressure condition in each of the cleaning members when they are non-submerged, the chamber receiving wet solids removed from non-submerged, wet solids-laden portions of the filter media by the non-submerged cleaning members subsequent to submerged, fouled portions of the filter media being rotated out of the filtration zone.
SHAKER SCREEN FRAME WITH CIRCULAR MEMBER
A screen, for a vibrating screen device, has a frame and a screen surface. The frame has a periphery and a middle portion wherein the periphery is constructed of elongate material portions. The middle portion has middle supports including tubing having a cross-section of an ovular shape.
Device for separating and removing material to be sieved from a flowing liquid contaminated with material to be sieved
A device for separating and removing material to be sieved from flowing liquid includes a screen forming a sieve surface and fixed to a frame with grate bars arranged beside one another and separated from each other. At least one cleaning rake with numerous cleaning prongs can be in a conveying direction along the screen via a drive. When the cleaning prongs pass the screen, they engage at least in sections between adjacent grate bars to remove the material to be sieved and held back by the screen, thereby conveying it towards a discharge. The cleaning prongs may be configured to be movable laterally back and forth with regard to the conveying direction and with regard to the screen.
Ballast water treatment device
A ballast water treatment device including a cylindrical filter (2) that is disposed in a casing (1) and filters and externally discharges ballast water having flowed inside, comprising: a filter rotating unit (3) that rotates the filter (2) around a shaft center of the filter (2); a suction nozzle (4) that is disposed on the primary side of the filter (2) and opens toward the inner circumferential surface of the filter (2); a waste rinsing water discharging unit (5) that externally discharges waste rinsing water sucked by the suction nozzle (4) from the casing (1); a high-pressure fluid jet nozzle (40) that is disposed on the secondary side of the filter (2), opens toward the outer circumferential surface of the filter (2), and jets high-pressure fluid toward the filter (2); and a high-pressure fluid supplying unit (41) that supplies high-pressure fluid to the high-pressure fluid jet nozzle (40). The ballast water treatment device enables rinsing of the filter (2) to be performed efficiently and effectively, and achieves a simple structure and facilitated manufacture and maintenance.
Self-cleaning filter device adaptable to the volume of rainwater and a method for its use
A self-cleaning filter device adaptable to the volume of rainwater and a method for its use are described. The self-cleaning filter device adaptable to the volume of rainwater comprises a body including a rainwater inlet, a debris outlet, at least one filtered rainwater outlet, a filter element provided inside the body and comprising a flexible element having a filter means involving and secured to it and whose upper end is connected to said rainwater inlet and whose lower end is connected to said debris outlet, said filter element being provided with an upper portion, a central portion and a lower portion, and a regulating device provided inside the body and connected to the filter element.
Systems, devices, and methods for specimen preparation
Systems, devices and methods are configured to prepare a specimen. A system may include a preparation device configured to mate with a specimen collection device. The preparation device may include an agitator member and a filter member. The filter member and the agitator member may be configured to move independently with respect to each other and the preparation platform member. The filter member may be configured to move linearly with respect to the preparation platform member and/or the agitator member, and the agitator member may be configured to move linearly and radially with respect to the preparation platform member and/or the agitator member. The system may also include a specimen collection device. The specimen may include but is not limited to fecal matter.
SELF CLEANING POOL CLEANER
A pool cleaner that may include a drive mechanism for moving the pool cleaner; a housing that has a first fluid opening and a second fluid opening; a filtering unit that comprises a filter enclosure and a filtering element; a fluid flow mechanism for inducing a flow of fluid through the filtering element in a first direction during a filtering process and for inducing a flow of the fluid through the filtering element at a substantially opposite direction during a backwash process; and a debris trap that is configured to receive debris from the filtering element during the backwash process and to substantially prevent the debris from exiting the debris trap during the filtering process.
Pool cleaning assembly
A pool cleaning assembly includes a frame is that may be manipulated thereby facilitating the frame to be urged through a pool. A float is coupled to the top lateral member. The float floats in the pool thereby facilitating the frame to be oriented upright in the pool. A pair of wheels is provided. Each of the wheels is rotatably coupled to the frame to roll along a bottom of the pool. A plurality of brushes is provided and each of the brushes is removably coupled to the frame. Each of the brushes is frictionally engages the bottom of the pool when the frame is urged through the pool. Thus, each of the brushes cleans the bottom of the pool. A screen is removably coupled to the frame. The screen capture debris when the frame is urged in the pool thereby facilitating the debris to be removed from the pool.
