Embodiments of the present disclosure reveal a base station and a cleaning robot system. The base station includes a base station body, provided with a cleaning tank; a liquid discharge apparatus, configured to spray cleaning liquid, where the cleaning liquid is accommodated in the cleaning tank; a filtration apparatus, located in the cleaning tank; and a detection apparatus, where at least part of the detection apparatus is positioned on the filtration apparatus, and the detection apparatus is configured to detect a liquid level in the cleaning tank.

Portable swimming pool skimmer
A portable surface water or liquid skimmer system, and method of operating same, operative to skim a surface of a body of water or liquid independent of any fixed filtration system or external pump are disclosed. A surface water/liquid skimmer system may comprise an inlet chamber having a surface water/liquid inlet, an outlet chamber having a return water/liquid outlet, and a divider separating the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber and having a divider aperture to communicate filtered water/liquid from the inlet chamber to the outlet chamber. A filter medium is between the surface water/liquid inlet and the divider aperture. A pump communicates filtered water/liquid from the divider aperture to the return water/liquid outlet. A float may be attached to the housing to float on the body of water/liquid such that the surface water/liquid is communicated to the surface water/liquid inlet.

A portable surface water or liquid skimmer system, and method of operating same, operative to skim a surface of a body of water or liquid independent of any fixed filtration system or external pump are disclosed. Each of the set of flotation tubes is constructed to add buoyancy to the platform. The pump tube constructed to be coupled to the pump and house the pump. The encasement substantially surrounds a portion of the pump tube and a portion of at least one of the set of flotation tubes.

A floating liquid intake for a liquid suction removal system, the liquid intake comprising housing defining an internal cavity. The housing has a hollow and buoyant annular body, an upper cover and a lower cover. The internal cavity is formed between the upper and lower covers. A substantially annular inlet is formed in the annular body for ingress of liquid into the cavity. The annular body has a buoyancy sufficient for the liquid intake to float in a liquid with the annular inlet submerged below the surface of the liquid in which the liquid intake is floating. A pipe extends into the cavity and the pipe includes an inlet that in use is open below the surface of the liquid within the cavity. The pipe extends outside of the cavity for connection to a liquid suction removal system.

A floating liquid intake for a liquid suction removal system, the liquid intake comprising housing defining an internal cavity. The housing has a hollow and buoyant annular body, an upper cover and a lower cover. The internal cavity is formed between the upper and lower covers.
