The invention proposes a rotary filter intended for liquid/solid separation of a suspension, comprising a trough, a spraying device, and at least one disk which is non-rotatably connected to a main shaft, characterized in that: each disk comprises a first series of at least one filter sector which is separated from a second series of at least one filter sector by means of two non-filtering zones, the main shaft comprises a first pipe which communicates with the first series of at least one filter sector of each disk, and a second pipe which communicates with the second series of at least one filter sector of each disk, said rotary filter comprises comb teeth.

Other embodiments of the invention are directed toward heat management, and other process enhancements for making the system especially efficient.
