A diesel fuel filter for removing foreign substances and water contained in fuel used in a high-pressure fuel pump upon lubricating and cooling the high-pressure fuel pump is provided. The diesel fuel filter includes a lower cap for draining water including a double-lock cover and a double-lock pin to provide a double-lock structure to prevent fuel leakage caused by unfastening of the lower cap due to impact or vibration during driving of a vehicle.

DIATOMACEOUS EARTH FILTER CLEANER
20170282103 · 2017-10-05 ·

A diatomaceous earth filter cleaner for cleaning flex tubes attached to a tube sheet of a diatomaceous earth filter. The diatomaceous earth filter cleaner has a hollow tube, a blast jet housing, an inner diameter scrub brush, and a fitting at an end of the hollow tube for coupling a hose connected to a water supply. The hollow tube of the diatomaceous earth filter cleaner has a length with a first end and a second end for receiving a flex tube. The blast jet housing is attached to the first end of the hollow tube and comprises an angled lip and a restricted orifice formed by an inner circumference of the blast jet housing for receiving a flex tube. The inner diameter scrub brush is received within the inner circumference of the blast jet housing and has an orifice for cleaning an outer circumference of the flex tube.

Liquid filter, assembly, system, and methods

A filter cartridge 38 includes a first endcap 41 defining a first open aperture and having at least first and second protrusions extending from a wall along the aperture and into the first open aperture. The first protrusion is spaced from the second protrusion in both a vertical direction and a circumferential direction. The filter cartridge also includes filter media 44 and a second endcap 42 . The filter cartridge is mountable in a filter bowl 36 having an inner liner assembly, and the bowl and the inner liner assembly is connectable to a filter head to form a filter system. The filter system can have any one or combination of the following features: a filter lock-out mechanism to ensure that the filter head and the filter bowl are not connectable unless there is a proper filter cartridge installed therein; an automatic drain mechanism to drain the filter bowl of liquid before the filter cartridge is removed from the bowl; and a cartridge retention mechanism, to ensure that the filter cartridge remains with the filter bowl after the filter bowl has been removed from the filter head. Adaptor rings can be utilized in order to test other types of filter elements in the system, when those other types of filter elements do not have the protrusion arrangement. Assemblies, methods of servicing, methods of installing, methods of use, and methods of retaining can be practiced.

A filter system for liquid media has a filter housing with housing pot and housing cover. The housing pot has a drainage channel with bottom-side drainage opening. A bottom end disk of a filter element has a closure element arranged off-center to a longitudinal filter element axis. The closure element, in predetermined installation position of the filter element, extends seal-tightly across or into the drainage opening. The bottom end disk has a positioning aid corresponding with a cutout of an annular socket of the housing pot. By screwing on the housing cover, the filter element moves with the housing cover axially toward the drainage opening and rotates until positioning aid and cutout engage and lock the filter element relative to the housing pot in a predetermined rotational position where the closure element is axially aligned with the drainage opening. The filter element moves with the housing cover axially into the predetermined installation position.
