Method for separating solid particles from a waterbody

The present disclosure relates to a method for separation of solid particles from a waterbody. Preferably, the present disclosure relates to a method, wherein a combination of chemicals including coagulant(s) and flocculant(s) are employed for said separation of solid particles, wherein suitable examples of solid particles are living organisms and non-living matter, wherein living organisms include autotrophs such as phototrophs, which are either microscopic or macroscopic in nature (algae). The disclosure thus particularly relates to method of chemical coagulation and flocculation for separating solid particles, preferably either algae or bacteria or both from a waterbody. The present disclosure also provides for an alternate method, wherein the aforesaid method of coagulation and flocculation is combined with electro-coagulation and/or pH modulation strategies for separation of said solid particles in any sequence.

Bladder saver device

To inhibit damage to or failure of the bladder within a bladder-type pulsation dampener, an internal passage of a bladder saver device carrying pumped fluid from the pulsation bleed plate mounted within the internal passage and movable between a first position in which the pulsated fluid flow is unencumbered by the bleed plate and a second position in which the pulsated fluid flow is restricted by the bleed plate.

A fluid collection container includes a self-supporting, collapsible bag with a threaded cylindrical inlet ring or spout and a strainer removably seated within the ring. The strainer can separate a macroscopic solid object from a viscous liquid. The fluid collection container includes a rectangular prismatic box with the spout extending through and a threaded cap removably coupled to the spout. A method of draining automotive oil includes positioning the bag beneath an oil pan of an automobile, removing an oil plug from the automotive oil pan and allowing the oil plug to fall into the strainer; draining the automotive oil through the strainer into the bag; removing an oil filter from the automobile; removing the strainer from the inlet; inserting the oil filter; and screwing a threaded the cap onto the inlet.

A drainage system for a galley of a vehicle includes a sink that is configured to receive a colored liquid. A liquid pigment remover is in fluid communication with the sink. The liquid pigment remover is configured to remove color from the liquid. A drain is in fluid communication with the liquid coloration. The drain is configured to pass the liquid overboard from the vehicle after the color is removed (or partially removed) from the liquid by the liquid pigment remover. The drainage system may also include a strainer that is configured to strain particulates from the liquid before the liquid passes overboard out of the vehicle.

Strainer assembly for internal valve

An internal valve includes a valve stem disposed in a valve body, a poppet valve coupled to the stem, and a bleed valve coupled to the stem. The valve stem is shiftable from a first position in which the poppet valve and the bleed valve are closed, to a second position in which the bleed valve is open, and a third position in which the bleed valve is closed and the poppet valve is open, and the poppet may close in response to a pressure change. The internal valve includes a strainer having an extended portion to be positioned in a clearance space between an upper portion of the valve body and an opening of a fluid container. The strainer is arranged for securement to a mounting area of the valve body by at least one fastener.
