In particular, the second mesh member has a mesh size smaller than a mesh size of the first mesh member such that the mesh filter inhibits clogging of the mesh filter with paraffin wax.

A filter for a liquid purifier, comprising: a filter housing having an inlet to receive water and an outlet to discharge the water; and a filter module provided in the filter housing, and configured to purify water introduced through the inlet, and to provide the purified water to the outlet, wherein the filter module includes a carbon block having a hollow tube shape by mixing activated carbon, a binder, ferric hydroxide, and titanium oxide, and the binder is mixed at a ratio of 13% to 23% by weight.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus for filtering a fluid. One exemplary aspect including a casing having an interior cavity and extending between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet at opposed ends thereof, a tube sheet assembly spanning the interior cavity the tube sheet assembly having a plurality bores therethrough and a plurality of filter media tubes each extending from one of the plurality of bores in the tube sheet assembly. In some exemplary aspects, the tube sheet assembly may comprise a plurality of retaining plates sandwiched together with a tube sheet plate. In some exemplary aspects, the apparatus may further comprise at least one restrictor plate adapted to obstruct at least one of the plurality of bores of the tube sheet.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to an apparatus for filtering a fluid. One exemplary aspect including a casing having an interior cavity and extending between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet at opposed ends thereof, a tube sheet assembly spanning the interior cavity the tube sheet assembly having a plurality bores therethrough and a plurality of filter media tubes each extending from one of the plurality of bores in the tube sheet assembly. A first flow path for water leads into the support structure and out again through the through-flow openings and the surface filter. A second flow path leads into the support structure and out again only through the central opening. The support structure is designed circumferential and is formed by support ribs which between them comprise the through-flow openings. The surface filter is attached or pressed onto the outside of the support structure in such a way that it covers the through-flow openings and rests on the outside of the support ribs.

A sanitation device for cleaning a body of water in an immersion pool of a mikvah has a housing, a driving member and a bypass passageway. The housing includes an inlet, an outlet and internal liquid passages that communicate between the inlet and outlet. The driving member is arranged to urge flow of liquid through the internal liquid passages by exerting thrust upon liquid flowing through the driving member, wherein at least part of the liquid flowing through the liquid passages bypasses flowing through the driving member by flowing through the bypass passageway towards the device's outlet.
