A filter cartridge for a fuel circulation circuit of a vehicle. The filter cartridge comprises a cartridge body identifying a filtration chamber. In said filtration chamber, the filter cartridge further comprises at least one filter insert which divides said filtration chamber into a dirty chamber containing fuel to be filtered and a clean chamber containing filtered fuel. The filter cartridge further comprises a ventilation device suitable to ventilate in the dirty chamber, wherein the ventilation device comprises at least one ventilation duct placed in an upper area of the filtration chamber in which the air floating in the fuel accumulates. Said ventilation duct has a plurality of ventilation holes mutually spaced from one another through which the air is removed from the filtration chamber.

Filter Element With Air-Bleed Conduit

A filter element includes a first end cap, a second end cap, and a ring of filter media disposed between the first end cap and the second end cap. The ring of filter media circumscribes a central cavity. The filter element also includes an air-bleed conduit axially extending through the central cavity. The air-bleed conduit includes a first portion integrally formed with the first end cap and a second portion integrally formed with the second end cap. The second portion is configured to fluidly connect to the first portion.

Methods and systems for recovering retained filtered fluid are provided.

In situ filter rejuvenation system
11173435 · 2021-11-16 ·

An in situ system of filter rejuvenation has a fluid inlet on a first side of a reaction chamber, a fluid outlet disposed on a second side of the reaction chamber, a filtration chamber with a first wall comprising a ceramic glass material with a pass-band in the infrared spectrum. The filtration chamber is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet so that a fluid introduced into the inlet passes through the filtration chamber and exits through the fluid outlet. The system has at least one infrared heating element configured to transmit infrared energy within the pass-band of the ceramic glass material to heat the filter medium disposed within the filtration chamber to a temperature of at least 260° C., which can gasify contaminants without combustion.

Gas-liquid separator

A gas-liquid separator includes: a housing including a gas inlet, a gas outlet, and a water storage section at a lower side of the gas inlet and the gas outlet; a collision wall provided inside the housing to collide with a gas that contains water introduced from the gas inlet to separate the water from the gas by adhering the water thereto while changing a flow direction of the gas; and a downflow wall provided inside the housing to introduce the water falling from the collision wall into the water storage section and change the flow direction of the gas.

Regenerative media filtration
