Fuel-water separator systems and methods
A fuel-water separator includes a cartridge assembly and a bowl. The cartridge assembly receives a fuel-water mixture and provides a fuel. The cartridge assembly includes an endplate. The bowl is configured to store water separated from the fuel-water mixture. The bowl is coupled to the endplate. The endplate includes an air vent that receives air from the bowl. The air vent establishes a pressure equilibrium within the bowl and the cartridge assembly.
IN SITU FILTER REJUVENATION SYSTEM
An in situ system of filter rejuvenation has a fluid inlet on a first side of a reaction chamber, a fluid outlet disposed on a second side of the reaction chamber, a filtration chamber with a first wall comprising a ceramic glass material with a pass-band in the infrared spectrum. The filtration chamber is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet so that a fluid introduced into the inlet passes through the filtration chamber and exits through the fluid outlet. The system has at least one infrared heating element configured to transmit infrared energy within the pass-band of the ceramic glass material to heat the filter medium disposed within the filtration chamber to a temperature of at least 260° C., which can gasify contaminants without combustion.
Resist filtering system having multi filters and apparatus having the resist filtering system
A resist coating apparatus including a resist supplying system; a resist filtering system having a first filter, a second filter, and a pump between the first filter and the second filter; and a resist dispensing system, wherein the first filter includes a plurality of first unit filters connected in parallel.
Vacuum Assisted Filtration
An apparatus includes a chemical filter fluidly coupled between a source for a processing solution and a nozzle to dispense the processing solution. The chemical filter is configured to filter the processing solution from the source. The apparatus may include a vacuum pump that is configured to apply a vacuum to the chemical filter. The apparatus may include a valve system configured to operate in a first operating state and a second operating state, where in the first operating state the valve system is configured to couple the source to the chemical filter and block the vacuum to the chemical filter, and where in the second operating state the valve system is configured to couple the vacuum to the chemical filter and block the source to the chemical filter.
FILTER CARTRIDGE WITH AIR VENTING FLOW PATH
A filter cartridge including a cartridge housing arranged about an axis and including first and second housing end caps and an apertured generally cylindrical housing body joined at opposite ends thereof to the first and second housing end caps, filter material arranged in an accordion-like filter medium disposed within the cartridge housing in a generally cylindrical configuration about a central bore, first and second filter medium end caps attached to opposite ends of the filter medium, a generally cylindrical internal structural member joined to the first filter medium end cap and extending through the central bore and an elongate air venting tube mounted onto the first and second filter medium end caps and extending axially interiorly of the cartridge housing but radially exteriorly of the filter material.
Crankcase filter assembly
A filter assembly that includes a separator for separating gas from a fluid. The assembly includes; a base with surrounding walls that define a fluid reservoir; a baffle that overlies at least a portion of the reservoir; a filter element that is beneath the baffle and in the reservoir; and, a cover that is removably fastened to the base and includes a fluid inlet that terminates in a conical base with an unrestricted opening and the baffle includes a fluid impact cone.
Filter element with air-bleed conduit
A filter element includes a first end cap, a second end cap, and a ring of filter media disposed between the first end cap and the second end cap. The ring of filter media circumscribes a central cavity. The filter element also includes an air-bleed conduit axially extending through the central cavity. The air-bleed conduit includes a first portion integrally formed with the first end cap and a second portion integrally formed with the second end cap. The second portion is configured to fluidly connect to the first portion.
AUTOMATIC AIR VENT AND SAFETY VALVE INTEGRATED IN THE CARTRIDGE
A filter assembly includes a housing defining an outer cavity and an inner cavity, a filter element, positioned within the housing, and a valve body. The filter element includes a filter media and an endcap and is configured to filter a fluid. The endcap includes a valve seat. The valve body includes a vent passage, where at least a portion of the valve body positioned within a central tube. The valve body is configured to move between a closed position and an open position and is biased toward the closed position by a return member, in the closed position, the valve body is configured to seal against the valve seat and the vent passage provides fluid communication between the inner cavity and the outer cavity.
