Fuel supply device
A fuel supply device includes a filter device, a pump, a suction pipe, and a bubble removing device. The filter device includes a first filter that filters a fuel, a filter chamber surrounded by the first filter, and a filter opening that is in fluid communication with the filter chamber. The pump has a pump suction port for drawing the fuel from the filter chamber. The suction pipe fluidly connects the filter opening to the pump suction port. The bubble removing device is disposed in at least one of the filter device and the suction pipe. The bubble removing device includes a valve device that is configured to discharge a bubble contained in the fuel to the internal space of the fuel tank, and a foreign matter regulator that is disposed between the valve device and the internal space and that regulates or prevents a foreign matter contained in the fuel from flowing into the fuel supply device.
Liquid recovery filter
The liquid recovery filter includes several embodiments, each of which provides for the recovery of liquid otherwise trapped within the filter housing and element. Each embodiment includes a series of vents, purge ports, and passages that communicate fluidly with the filter housing and filter core. Certain vents and purge ports are initially opened following filtration operations to allow pressurized gas to flow into the housing, thereby forcing residual unfiltered liquid through the filter. When this has been accomplished, another vent is opened to the filter core to allow filtered liquid to flow from the downstream or outlet passage from the filter core. Some embodiments have the filter outlet located above the filter, and include a downstream drain port extending from the filter core. The downstream drain port provides for the recovery of filtered liquid when the vent or purge port is opened in these embodiments.
SELF SUFFICIENT SUCTION SIDE AUTOMATIC DRAIN VALVE
Various example embodiments relate to an automatic drain system for use with a fluid water separator. The automatic drain system includes a liquid-in-fuel sensor configured to detect a liquid level in a water sump. A pump includes an inlet in fluid communication with the water sump and an outlet in fluid communication with the inlet. The pump has an active state and an inactive state. The active state causes the pump to draw liquid in from the inlet and direct liquid toward the outlet. A battery is configured to power the pump. A circuit board is operably connected to the pump and battery. The circuit board includes at least one circuit having a first state and a second state. The first state prevents power flow from the battery to the pump. The second state facilitates power flow from the battery to the pump, transitioning the pump from inactive to active.
Drain filter with air passage
A drain filter assembly includes a screen filter that is configured to be installed at a drain and that is configured to block foreign substances in liquid while the liquid passes therethrough. The screen filter includes: a plurality of filter holes configured to allow passage of the liquid into the drain, where each of the plurality of filter holes has a pore size that is less than sizes of the foreign substances; and an air communication hole configured to allow passage of air the liquid passes through the plurality of filter holes. A diameter of the air communication hole is greater than the pore size of each of the plurality of filter holes.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECYCLING PLASTICS
Techniques recycle plastics in multiple successive process steps. A polymer, preferably a recyclable material, is melted using a discharge extruder, filtered using a first filter device under a positive pressure atmosphere, filtered and degassed using a degassing device, and discharged using a discharge extruder. The degassing device has at least one filter element and a vacuum chamber with a negative pressure atmosphere for filtering and degassing purposes, wherein the plastic melt can be conducted into the negative pressure atmosphere of the vacuum chamber through the filter element.
Vented filter cartridge integrated into the upper flange and filtration
A filter cartridge (1) comprising a filter medium (2) of cylindrical shape defining a central axis (3), a first flange (4), said first flange (4) being a flange plate which comprises a central opening (5) defining a fluid outlet, a first face (4a) and a second face (4b) opposite the first face (4a), said face (2) being fixed to the second face (4b) of the first flange (4), and a filtering medium (6) extending from said first face (4a) along the central axis and projecting outwardly from said central opening (5), said cylindrical extension (6) having an outer face (6a) and an inner face (6b); characterized in that said cylindrical extension (6) is traversed by at least one vent (7), and in that a first joint element (8) is provided at a first position of the cylindrical extension (6) and a second sealing element (9) is provided on a second position of the cylindrical extension (6), the first joint element (8) being axially offset from the second joint member (9) with respect to the central axis so that said at least one at least one vent (7) is positioned between the first seal member (8) and the second seal member (9) with respect to the central axis (3). Filtration system incorporating such a cartridge.
FILTER CARTRIDGE HAVING AIR VENT WITH RESTRICTION, ASSEMBLIES, AND METHODS
An air filter cartridge for filtering liquids, such as fuel or oil, can be used in a filter assembly. The air filter cartridge has first and second opposite end caps and filter media extending between the end caps. The first end cap has an air channel with an inlet and an outlet to allow for the bleeding of air from the unfiltered side to the filtered side, while minimizing the amount of liquid allowed to bypass the media. Due to the viscosity differences of air versus liquid (e.g. a hydrocarbon such as fuel or oil), a long vent with at least one thin axis impedes liquid flow to a greater degree than air flow through the same vent.
Fluid Filling Diverter and Collector Apparatus
Apparatus that makes it possible to prefill spin-on filter cartridges by allowing users to easily pour fluid only into the filter cartridge input port holes. Particularly useful for applications where introducing contaminants downstream of the filter can be detrimental to the system the filter protects.
