A regenerative filter that includes a filter housing having inlet and outlet zones; a fluid path provided between the inlet and outlet zones; a plurality of filter elements each having an outer surface filter media applied thereto and functioning to filter particulate or contaminants from the fluid path; and a tube sheet that is supported across the filter housing, that is disposed just before the outlet zone and that provides the support for the plurality of filter elements. The plurality of filter elements are disposed in an array and includes bridging members or elements that connect between adjacent filter elements, and that forms with the filter elements, a closed interstitial space between adjacent filter elements for liquid flow; a nanoscale barrier on interior surfaces, including that of the regenerative media itself, providing a mechanism to disrupt the cell wall of microscopic viruses and organisms.

ROLLED FILM WITH STRUCTURES FOR FLUID SEPARATION
Devices for the separation of components within a fluid are disclosed herein. The device includes a housing that contains a roll of film with spaced apart microstructures thereon to crate channels to direct fluid flow. The channels have functionalized surfaces to attract and retain desired components in the fluid so that those components can be separated from the fluid. The film roll is typically contained by an outer sleeve around its perimeter to contain the fluid therein. The device also includes a central hub on which the film roll is mounted.
CARBON DIOXIDE EXTRACTION PROCESSES, DEVICES, METHODS, AND SYSTEMS
A CO.sub.2 extraction process for cannabis sativa that uses liquid CO.sub.2 in combination with co-solvent admixtures to purify cannabis botanicals in high yield and purity. The extraction process allows for multiple extractions, or washes, to be performed with the same solvent CO.sub.2, which may be seamlessly recycled and purified between subsequent extraction cycles. A variety of in-line filtration vessels, pumps, vacuums, and controllable valves are used to yield a pure product while allowing a high level of user control over the process.

The cleaning sequence can comprise agitating the tube sheet, initiating a pump to effectively air scour for a first predetermined amount of time, dwelling for a second predetermined amount of time, and repeating the agitating, initiating, and dwelling until a third predetermined amount of time is complete.

ACID-REDUCING BEVERAGE FILTER AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
The present technology provides a method for preparing an acid-reducing filter that includes depositing a mineral blend layer to a filter substrate, where the mineral blend layer comprises calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate at a weight ratio of about 1:10 to about 10:1, the mineral blend is free of soluble halide or hydroxide salts of alkali or alkaline earth metals, and the mineral blend layer is insoluble in water.
ACID-REDUCING BEVERAGE FILTER AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
The present technology provides a method for preparing an acid-reducing filter that includes depositing a mineral blend layer to a filter substrate, where the mineral blend layer comprises calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate at a weight ratio of about 1:10 to about 10:1, the mineral blend is free of soluble halide or hydroxide salts of alkali or alkaline earth metals, and the mineral blend layer is insoluble in water.
Catalytic decomposition of sterol glycosides in a diesel fuel filter
The present disclosure relates to a fuel filter (1) for filtering diesel fuel supplied to an internal combustion engine (2). The fuel filter (1) includes a filter element (12, 19) for trapping and decomposing precipitates suspended in the diesel fuel. An solid acid catalyst like a zeolite is provided for decomposing precipitates trapped by the filter element (12, 19). Sterol glycosides (precipitates) are splitted into sterol and glycoside moieties, which are soluble in the biodiesel, thus preventing clogging of the filter by sterol glycoside agglomerates. The sterol and glycoside moieties pass to the engine where they are burnt. The present disclosure also relates to a method of filtering diesel fuel for supply to an internal combustion engine (2).
