AIR IONIZATION METHODS
Ionization systems configured with a catalyst-bearing sleeve provide improved filtration while keeping ozone levels within acceptable limits. Modular configurations provide for serviceability and replaceability. System controls monitor particulates, temperature, humidity, and other relevant factors and adjust an ionization level accordingly for optimal performance.

INTERACTIVE NIGHTLIGHT WITH AIR CLEANING
An environmental control device including: a base housing; a topper configured to be attachable and detachable from the base housing; one or more environmental systems; and one or more environmental sensors, wherein the topper is shaped as a figurine.
Exhaust gas purification device
An exhaust gas purification device having such a structure that exhaust gas can uniformly flow into without depending on a shape of an exhaust gas inlet pipe. A gas purification body which purifies the exhaust gas, a purification casing which accommodates the gas purification body, an exhaust gas inlet pipe which communicates with an exhaust gas inflow port of the purification casing, and an exhaust gas outlet pipe which communicates with an exhaust gas outflow port of the purification casing. The exhaust gas inlet pipe is attached to the purification casing in such a manner as to cover the exhaust gas inflow port and extend in a longitudinal direction of the purification casing. An introduction passage of the exhaust gas is formed by an outside surface of the purification casing and an inside surface of a pipe wall of the exhaust gas inlet pipe. A portion extending along the purification casing in the pipe wall is inclined so as to come close to the outside surface of the purification casing in proportion to heading for an exhaust gas outlet side from an exhaust gas inlet side.
EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION FILTER
An exhaust gas purification filter is configured to he disposed in an exhaust passage in a gasoline engine. The exhaust gas purification filter includes partition walls including a plurality of pores, a plurality of cells partitioned by the partition walls, and sealing portions alternately sealing ends of a plurality of the cells in the exhaust gas purification filter. The partition walls each have an average pore diameter of more than 16 μm and less than 21 μm, and have a ratio of an average surface opening diameter of the pores in a partition wall surface to the average pore diameter of the partition wall of 0.66 or more and 0.94 or less.
AIR PERMEABLE VENT FILTER, AND HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY COMPRISING SAME
Provided are an air permeable vent filter, and a headlight assembly comprising the same. The air permeable vent filter has a body in which a nanofiber web, which comprises a plurality of pores and is formed by accumulating a nanofiber electrospun from a spinning solution in which a polymer material and a solvent are mixed, is spirally wound, and the air permeable vent filter implements an air permeable filter function of allowing air to pass through from one lateral side of the body to the other lateral side and blocking liquids and solids.
Method for operating a urea dosing system in an engine system, and engine system including a urea dosing system
In a method for operating a urea dosing system in an exhaust aftertreatment system (EATS) of an engine, an ambient temperature is measured in an environment in which the EATS is disposed, one or more temperatures associated with the EATS to which there is a relationship to a temperature of area in the urea dosing system are monitored. After turning off the engine, whether urea in the urea dosing system is subject to freezing is determined based on the measured ambient temperature and the one or more monitored temperatures. A reversion operation is performed after turning off the engine with a delay until one or more events occur, the one or more events including determining that urea in the urea dosing system is subject to freezing. An engine system is also provided.
EXHAUST SYSTEM
An exhaust system for a combustion engine includes first and second catalytic converters arranged downstream of the combustion engine in a flow direction of exhaust gas. First and second exhaust pipes extend from the combustion engine to the first and second catalytic converters, respectively, with a first valve disposed in the first exhaust pipe, and a second valve disposed in the second exhaust pipe. The first and second valves operate such that in the presence of an exhaust temperature which is equal to or less than a limit value, at least the first valve opens to allow exhaust gas from the combustion engine to flow through the first catalytic converter, and that the first valve closes and the second valve opens, when the exhaust temperature is greater than the limit value to thereby allow exhaust gas from the combustion engine to flow through the second catalytic converter.
Air conditioner and method for controlling the same
An air conditioner includes a humidifying assembly and a control unit to control the humidifying assembly. The humidifying assembly includes a humidifying-receiving unit including a water tank configured to receive water and a humidifying-sterilizing unit configured to irradiate light to sterilize water received in the water tank. The control unit is configured to control a driving time of the humidifying-sterilizing unit based on an amount of water received in the water tank.
MECHANICAL SYSTEM TO CAPTURE AND TRANSFORM CONTAMINANT GASES, AND METHOD TO PURIFY AIR
Disclosed herein is a system for purifying air; for the capture of solid residues (soot), and the transformation of CO.sub.x and NO.sub.x (and even methane) present in contaminated air generated by industrial combustion.
The purifying air system comprises an air entrance (c); a first module (A), made up of mechanical filters; a second module (B), downwards from the first module (A), and it corresponds to a series of small reactors with molecular converters (nucleophile chemical agents) to capture and transform carbon oxides (CO.sub.x) and nitrogen oxides (NO.sub.x); and an exit for decontaminated air (D).
