A sliding-pivoting mechanism of a shelf of a piece of furniture or of a household appliance for extracting and raising the shelf out of a body of the piece of furniture or of the household appliance is provided. The mechanism includes at least two pivot arms of a pivoting mechanism, which are rotatably fixed by a first end to at least one of the side walls of the body, parallel to the plane of the side walls, and which are arranged parallel to and at a distance from each other. At respective second ends of the pivot arms, a guide rail of a sliding mechanism is pivotably fixed parallel to the plane of the side walls such that the guide rail is pivotable from a lower position within the body into a raised, upper position at least partially outside the body, at least one running rail that is linearly displaceable in the guide rail and to which the shelf is fixed. The sliding-pivoting mechanism includes a lever unit supporting raising and lowering of the pivoting mechanism and is pivotably fixed to the running rail parallel to the plane of the side walls. A coupling element of a first coupling unit is arranged on the lever unit such that the coupling element is couplable to at least one of the pivot arms with a corresponding element of the first coupling unit, which corresponds to the coupling element, by displacing the running rail into a predetermined pivoting position.

Provided herein are systems, methods, and apparatus related to a storage system. The storage system may include one or more cabinets having shelves including a foldable panel. The storage system may include one or more cabinets having shelves including a fixed portion and a sliding portion configured to slide relative to the fixed portion. A modular storage system may be provided including a plurality of cabinet units that may fixedly attach to each other. A locking mechanism including a locking foot and locking element may be provided for connecting multiple cabinets in a modular cabinet assembly. Some embodiments may include a drawer and secondary work surface assembly for a shelf capable of use in a cabinet.

The work surface is configured to cover a protected member when in a first position and the work surface is configured to uncover the protected member when moved into a second position. AUTOMATIC PULL-DOWN SHELF ASSEMBLY
The present invention provides an automatic pull-down shelf assembly. The assembly can be easily installed within existing article storage racks or cabinets or new cabinets or racks can be built with this assembly. The assembly allows a user to move shelves closer to the user. The assembly includes a cabinet or rack, moving shelves, a pair of shelf guide mechanism, a prime mover, a controller and an operating device. The shelf guide mechanism includes a transition mechanism, a mounting plate, a first bracket, a vertical arm, a second bracket, a horizontal arm and a pivotal arm. The controller enables the assembly to move from a retracted position to the extended position and vice versa as per command received from the user. The assembly can be remotely controlled by software running on an operating device.
STORAGE RACK
A storage rack contains: a rectangular platform, two support feet, a rectangular plane, two long fringes, two short fringes, four circular orifices, four oval orifices, and two grips which. The two support feet are connected on the rectangular platform, and a respective support foot has a first inward bending portion and a second inward bending portion which are formed on two free ends of two tops of the respective support foot. Each of the first inward bending portion and the second inward bending portion has an arcuate face and an insertion, the arcuate face corresponds to a respective oval orifice of a respective long fringe of the rectangular platform, and the insertion corresponds to a respective circular orifice of the respective long fringe of the rectangular platform, such that the insertion is rotatably accommodated into the respective circular orifice to expand or retract the respective support foot freely.
