The foldaway shelving unit comprises at least one shelf spaced from a floor of the vehicle. The at least one shelf is moveable between a foldout position and a stored position. At least one end panel connects the at least one shelf to at least one support. The at least one end panel includes a mounting bracket and a mounting arm. The mounting bracket connects to the at least one shelf and the mounting arm connects to the at least one support. A hinge allows the mounting bracket to rotate between the foldout position and the stored position. The mounting bracket has a first stopping surface and a second stopping surface each spaced from one another. A stopper extends outwardly from the mounting bracket for engaging the first stopping surface in the foldout position and for engaging the second stopping surface in the stored position.

In the open position of the covering, the front facings entirely cover the space between the side walls, the inner walls, the tilt fittings, and the shelf, and are flush with the face end of the cabinet body, and the inner walls entirely cover the tilt fittings and front facings. The front facings are each connected to a travel-limiting, adjustable guide device.

Shelving systems

A shelving system includes first and second side members. A cross member is coupled to the side members. A guide member is coupled to the cross member such that the guide member is movable relative to the cross member. A container including a rail is coupled to the guide member. The rail includes a first locking element and a second locking element that is connected to the first locking element. The container includes a handle having a third locking element that engages the first locking element. The locking elements are configured to move the container between a first orientation in which the container is provisionally fixed to the guide member and a second orientation in which the container can translate relative to the guide member.

CABINET AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME, AND AIRCRAFT INCLUDING A CABINET

Cabinets, methods for making cabinets, and aircraft including cabinets are provided. In one example, a cabinet includes a cabinet body that at least partially surrounds a cabinet space and that defines a cabinet opening that allows access to the cabinet space. A cabinet door at least partially covers the cabinet opening when in a closed position and extends upward from a lower edge portion to an upper edge portion. The cabinet door has an outer exposed surface facing generally in a first direction away from the cabinet space when in the closed position. The cabinet door is operatively coupled to the cabinet body for opening from the closed position to an open position including the lower edge portion moving generally upward and the upper edge portion moving generally upward and towards the first direction to expose the cabinet opening.

A workbench has a frame disposed on a set of wheels with a plurality of storage solutions, such as drawers, disposed within the frame. The workbench can include a work surface on a top surface of the frame and one or more handles permitting movement of the workbench as desired. The workbench can include a pegboard that is pivotable between a deployed configuration, where the pegboard extends upward from a back surface of the workbench, and a stowed configuration, where the pegboard is stored adjacent the back surface of the workbench. Typically, in the stowed configuration, the pegboard does not extend beyond either a plane defined by the work surface or a plane defined by a bottom surface, opposite the work surface, of the workbench frame. The workbench may be packaged and shipped in the stowed configuration, allowing the user to easily fully assembly the workbench assembly.

The cross bar portion of the U-shaped support rod is pivotally attached to the frontal portion of the shelf. With this arrangement, the user can swing the container in a arc from a lower position convenient to the user, to an upper position overlying the shelf. The cross bar can be attached to either a wire-type shelf or a wood shelf using brackets that need no threaded fasteners.

A storage container having interconnected walls defines a storage container interior. One of the interconnected walls is a conforming wall. The storage container is mounted to the pivot arm and pivotable to be raised and lowered between a stored position and an accessible position. In the stored position, the storage container is disposed within the overhead storage area and the conforming wall is upright. In the accessible position, the storage container is disposed below the overhead storage area and the conforming wall provides access to the storage container interior. A residential living unit and method are also disclosed.
