Disclosed are multiple stage rotating coalescer devices comprising a first stage and a second stage. The first stage may include a rotating coalescing element comprising coalescing media. The second stage is positioned either upstream or downstream or the first stage. The second stage may include one of: (i) a rotating cone stack separator, or (ii) a separate rotating coalescing element comprising coalescing media.

Automatic air filter with enhanced air flow filtering area

An air filter system in accordance with the present invention includes a filter housing that defines an airflow channel. A supply roll of a filter medium, and a take-up roll for receiving the filter medium from the supply roll are positioned parallel to each other in the airflow channel. A plurality of wire mesh diverter-screens are positioned between the supply roll and the take-up roll to establish a tortuous path for statically positioning the filter medium across the airflow channel. Periodically, the take-up roll can be rotated to draw replacement filter medium into position on the tortuous path.

Oil separator

An oil separator configured to separate from gas mist oil contained in target gas of the present invention is aimed to enhance separation efficiency of oil mist contained in target gas while reducing the weight of the separation disks. The oil separator of the present invention includes a rotor. This rotor has a plurality of separation disks 34 (61, 62) layered along the axis line of the spindle. Each of the separation disks 34 are configured with truncated cone shape plate members and have formed concavo-convex ribs 64, 65 extending from the rotational center in the radiation direction on the outer peripheral side parts 61b, 62b corresponding to the inclined surfaces of the truncated cone. The concavo-convex ribs 64, 65 include first convex portions 66 and second convex portions 67 where the first convex portions 66 include on the outer peripheral side parts 61b, 62b a convex on the front surface side and a concave on the back surface side, and the second convex portions 67 include on the outer peripheral side parts 61b, 62b a convex on the back surface side and a concave on the front surface side.

A lower partition wall having a through hole vertically penetrates the lower partition wall center. A spindle is inserted into the through hole. The top surface side of the lower partition wall includes a convex portion, a groove, and a drain hole. The convex portion is concentrically disposed at the through hole periphery. The groove extends, from an outer peripheral side of the convex portion, toward the through hole on an inner peripheral side. The drain hole is outside the convex portion, vertically penetrating the lower partition wall. The separated oil circles a top surface of the lower partition wall. The oil flowing to an inner peripheral side of the lower partition wall is guided to the groove and flows into the through hole. The oil flowing to an outer peripheral side of the lower partition wall flows into the drain hole.

AUTOMATICALLY RENEWING AIR FILTER

An air filter assembly and method of using the assembly are described. The assembly can include a filter media cartridge and a filter frame connected to the filter media cartridge. The filter media cartridge can have a cartridge body defining an internal volume, an aperture in a wall of the body, a supply roller for supplying filter media, and a take-up roller for receiving the filter media. The filter frame is configured for an air handler filter slot of an HVAC system. The filter media can extend about the longitudinal axis of the filter frame from and back to the filter media cartridge such that a double layer of the filter media covers an air flow opening defined by the filter frame. The filter frame can have a pair of side frame sections, each having an expansion joint that allows the side frame section to be lengthened or shortened.
