Axial flow centrifugal separator
Rotating coalescer elements that maximize the radial-projected separation surface area in a given (rotating) cylindrical volume, where flow to be cleaned is passing axially upward or downward through a separating media of the rotating coalescer element. Various example package assemblies are provided with various types of rotating configurations including cylindrical coiled media packs, frustum coiled media packs, concentric cylinders, coiled metal or polymer films with and without perforations, and/or alternating layers of different materials. The described rotating coalescers may be driven by hydraulic turbine, electric motor, belt, gear or by mounting on rotating machine components, such as rotating engine shafts or connected components.
SEPARATING DEVICE AND USE OF A SEPARATING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a separating device for removing solid particles from fluids, and to the use of said separating device for removing solid particles from fluids.

Wedge Wire Filter Tubes with Narrowed Slots
The invention provides novel slot tube screen material for filtering applications, in particular for separating solid particles from liquids. The slot tube filter screens manufactured according to the invention feature very small slot openings, which are narrowed with respect to a slot opening dimension of conventionally fabricated slot filter tubes. The slot tube construction of the invention comprises a torsion-rotation deformed structure of normally axially orientated parallel support members of the slot tube mantle, which further comprises spiral windings of profile wire around said support members, whereby at each contact crossing a solid weld connection fixes a crossing profile wire to a support member. The plastically twisted slot tube structure displays a helical distortion of the axial support ribs inside the slot tube. As a consequence the filter slot openings between adjoining windings of profile wire are markedly narrowed (versus undeformed slot tube), which offers the possibility of reliably achieving very small filter slot openings of less than 0.020 mm in slot tube filters or screens.
3D PRINTED STAGED FILTRATION MEDIA PACKS
A filter medium includes a plurality of layers each including an undulating strip of solidified material.
Gravity desanding apparatus with filter polisher
Apparatus and method disclosed herein related to first stage gravity separation of liquid and sand from a gaseous fluid stream in an upper portion of a desanding vessel, sand separating from gas along an annular path about a shell, the sand-free gas directed back down into the shell to a fluid outlet for removal as a product stream. A second stage gravity separation of sand from accumulated liquid occurs in a lower section of the vessel. An optional final or polishing stage of the liquid is conduct using a filter. A stacked-plate filter can extend an intake opening of the fluid outlet into the accumulated liquid. Further, the filter plates can be configured with parallel filtering of gas/liquid separation for gas intake above, and with liquid/sand separation below including pressure management of the filter operation.
Vent filter and radio remote unit
A vent filter and a Radio Remote Unit having the vent filter. The vent filter includes a first member including a first body having a ventilation path extending through the first body, an inner wall constituting a ventilation hole which is communicated with the ventilation path, and an outer wall constituting a gap between the inner wall and the outer wall. The vent filter also includes a second member including a second body and at least one enclosure wall protruding out from the second body, wherein at least one of the at least one enclosure wall is located outside the outer wall and surrounding the outer wall. Both the inner and outer walls have at least one first groove at an end and each of the at least one enclosure wall has at least one second groove at an end.

FILTRATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
Provided is a filtering apparatus configured to interact with objects of interest within a medium. The properties of the filtering apparatus can be configured to modify the trajectory of individual objects of interest which interact with the filtering apparatus within several orders of magnitude of the mean free path of objects of interest. Surfaces of a filtering apparatus can be constructed to preferentially redirect objects of interest in a desired direction, such as a direction substantially parallel to a surface, or substantially along the length of a channel connecting two reservoirs. This can modify the net diffusion of objects of interest relative to the surface, which can modify the bulk fluid flow velocity magnitude along the surface. This can be employed to reduce the viscous drag on a surface moving relative to a fluid, or to generate thrust, or to convert thermal energy of a fluid into useful work.
