Ambient air backflushed filter vacuum
09596970 · 2017-03-21 · ·

A vacuum cleaning machine has a cannister with an inlet port and at least two outlet ports. At least two filters are disposed inside of the cannister, one in pneumatic communication through each of the outlet ports. At least two valves are disposed outside of the cannister. Each valve is in pneumatic communication between a vacuum source and an outlet port so as to permit air to be drawn by the vacuum source from the inlet port simultaneously through the filters. A controller operates the valves to switch the filters from the vacuum source to ambient air so as to permit ambient air to be sequentially intermittently drawn through corresponding valves and filters into the cannister. Preferably, the controller includes a timing mechanism for setting the delay time of the sequential valve operation and a timing mechanism for setting the intermittent time of connection of each filter to ambient air.

Direct replacement air filter with automatic pleated filter media advance

The invention is directed to replacement media advancing air filter in air handling units with a flow channel. The filter having a housing and an exposure slot with filter media storage area that has an unexposed pleated, folded filter media portion stored therein. The filter media portion being folded and stacked in and compactly held at least in part within the storage area. A motor is coupled to a power supply and in communication with a controller. The motor moves a movement member that moves a portion of the filter media from a stored state in the storage area into the exposure slot and is exposed to the air in the air flow channel creating an exposed portion of the filter media. The exposed portion is collected within a containment area as a further portion of media is moved into the exposure slot to replace the exposed portion therein.

Filter and method of operating

A filter, a method of operating and a method of making is provided. The filter includes multiple filter layers in plurality with the structural integrity of the filter as a whole. The layers are perforated to allow any type of filtering such as but not limited to osmosis filtering, reverse osmosis filtering, static filtering, and sifting or sieve-like filtering effect as the media being filtered passes through the layers as the outermost layer collects most debris. The layers further have an adhesive relationship with each other layer and an optional base layer, so that each layer may be individually removed and the one beneath is exposed as a cleaner filter surface.

A blood clot removal device for removing blood clots from the vascular system of a patient is implantable in the patient's body. The blood clot removal device comprises a blood flow passageway to be connected to the patient's vascular system to allow circulation of the patient's blood through the blood flow passageway, a filter provided in the blood flow passageway for collecting blood clots occurring in the blood flowing through the blood flow passageway, and a cleaning device for moving blood clots collected by the filter out of the blood flow passageway. By means of such blood clot removal device, the risk of blood clots reaching sensitive areas of the patient's body, such as the brain, is reduced.

Manifold assembly for trap filter systems

The present disclosure is directed to a manifold assembly for a trap filter system having an inlet for receiving a flow of gas effluents containing contaminants generated by a semiconductor processing tool, a housing for a plurality of filters, wherein the plurality of trap filters connected to the inlet and are interchangeable while the semiconductor processing tool remains in operation, and a bypass mechanism configured to selectively direct or shut off the flow of gas effluent to one or more of the plurality of trap filters, wherein each of the plurality of filter is removable and replaceable when the filter is unable to effectuate the removal of contaminants.

AN AUTOMATED AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR CONTINOUS REMOVAL OF AEROSOLS
20250339805 · 2025-11-06 · ·

An air purification system comprising a housing having an internally formed air stream flow path communicating between an inlet for incoming polluted air containing particulate material and an air outlet for emitting clean filtered air from which the particulate material has been removed, a collection system provided in the air stream flow path to collect the particulate material, said collection system comprising at least three stages of filters positioned in series in a gradient arrangement in filter pore size and each stage having two identical filter elements in parallel arrangement (twin filter elements), the said three stages of gradient arrangement comprising a first coarse filter set, a second medium filter set and a third fine filter set, each of the said twin filter elements incorporating a means for automated clogging detection, automated self-cleaning, automatically self-removing from the airflow path and automatically switching to the clean filter of the twin filter elements, a means for allowing filtering stages to ensure continuous airflow while the filter cleaning mechanism is being used and only a single filter element of the twin filter elements exposed to the air flow path within the housing and functioning at any time, wherein, in operation, once a filter element is clogged, it is taken off the filtration air flow pathway by triggering the self-cleaning mechanism and at the same time engaging the second twin filter element to take over the filtration process in that the passage of air through the filter housing is facilitated by a set of inline suction fans located downstream side of each filter stage of the air flow path where the passage of sufficient air volume through the fans is controlled by a pre-set airflow sensor connected to fans for automated adjustment of the air flow to ensure sufficient airflow constantly.
