HUMIDIFIER AND/OR FLOW GENERATOR FOR CPAP DEVICE
A positive airway pressure device includes a blower and a base. A blower outlet passage is connected to the blower and has a central tubular portion and a flexible sealing portion surrounding an outer circumferential surface of the central tubular portion. The base receives a tub with a heat conducting base plate, an internal air passage configured to receive the pressurized flow of respiratory gas from the blower outlet passage, and a pair of tub flanges extending laterally from respective side walls of the tub. Each tub flange has a horizontal portion and a tapered portion. The base further includes a floor with a heater plate a pair of base flanges. Each base flange extends laterally inward from a respective one of the side walls and engages a respective tub flange as the tub is inserted into the base with the tapered portions of the tub flanges being received first.
Method for preparing lithium bis(fluorosulphonyl)imide salt
A method for preparing Cl—SO.sub.2NHSO.sub.2Cl including a step of chlorinating sulphamic acid with at least one chlorinating agent and at least one sulphur-containing agent, the method resulting in a flow F1, preferably liquid, including Cl—SO.sub.2NHSO.sub.2Cl and a gas stream F2 including HCl and SO.sub.2, the method including a step a) of treating the gas stream F2. Also, a method for preparing LiFSl including the abovementioned method for preparing Cl—SO.sub.2NHSO.sub.2Cl.

Pollutant Capturer and Mobilizer
Disclosed are a pollutant capturer and mobilizer and method of mobilizing a polluted gaseous substance from one location towards another location and capturing one or multiple types of polluting substances, such as CO.sub.2, from an atmospheric body of polluted gaseous substance or from exhaust of vehicles, chimneys, or stacks and thereby combat the negative health, environmental, and economic impacts of the of the polluting substances on communities. Wet or dry embodiments of the pollutant capturer and mobilizer utilize wet or dry pollutant capturing components, respectively, to capture one or multiple types of polluting substances from a body of polluted gaseous substance. Flow-establishing devices can be used to set the body of polluted gaseous substance in motion through the pollutant capturing component. The pollutant capturer and mobilizer may also be mounted on any type of vehicle, with or without using flow-establishing devices.

Device of an aircraft engine for separating oil from an air-oil volume flow
A device of an aircraft engine for separating oil from an air-oil volume flow and an apparatus for introducing oil into the air-oil volume flow. An outlet area of the apparatus for introducing oil is provided in a closed line section, into which the air-oil volume flow can be introduced via an inlet area. In accordance with the invention, a flow cross-section of the line section downstream of the outlet area of the apparatus tapers at least partially like a nozzle and at least in some sections inside a confusor area.
WET ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR AND METHOD OF TREATING AN EXHAUST
A fluid processing system and method of processing a fluid includes a tank having an outer wall, a heating element, and an insulating element. The heating element is situated within the tank and includes a first electrode and a second electrode. The insulating element is positioned between the first electrode and the second electrode. As such, powering the heating element directs an electric current through the fluid within the tank for heating the fluid, while the insulating element provides electrical and thermal insulation to the outer wall of the tank.
AIR CLEANING FOUNTAIN
A self-cleaning fountain includes: a structure having two ends, defining a first flow way for a first fluid to flow along, wherein the structure defines holes for allowing a second fluid to flow through the holes; a pump system configured to pump the first fluid to a first end of the structure; a distributer located at the first end of the structure and configured to spray the first fluid received from the pump system onto the structure; a catch basin located at a second end of the structure for collecting the first fluid that has moved along the flow way to the catch basin; a photocatalytic coating on the structure; and a light source configured to direct light on the photocatalytic coating.
Air Purifying Vent System
A filter system includes a liquid filter unit, a HEPA filter unit and an air vent cover. The filter system is installed into an in-room air vent and purifies air received from a forced air system prior to its entrance into a room via the in-room air vent. In some embodiments, the filter system further includes a means for controlling a temperature of the air such that users are able to independently control air temperature in each room of a building.
