APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF EXHAUST GAS

The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method of removing pollutants from exhaust gas by wet scrubbing process. In a scrubber apparatus of the present disclosure, an exhaust gas is first scrubbed in a primary mixing zone, the partially scrubbed gas discharged from the primary mixing zone is subsequently mixed forcibly in a secondary mixing zone before being discharged for polishing, demisting and/or reheating.

Waste Incinerator

A waste incinerator, in a vertical structure and including from the top down: a drying section, a destructive distillation section, a reduction section, and a combustion section. The combustion section includes: two layers of grate bars, a first combustion layer, a second combustion layer, and a third combustion layer. The heat produced from the combustion in the combustion section is used to heat the carbide in the reduction section. The heated carbide reduces CO.sub.2 produced in the combustion into CO (coal gas). The coal gas ascends to the destructive distillation section through the ambient coal gas chamber to heat and destructively distillate the waste to produce the pyrogenic coal gas and the carbide. The carbide drops to the combustion section for combustion, and the pyrogenic coal gas and the coal gas are collected by the draft fan.

SUBMICRON PARTICLE REMOVAL FROM GAS STREAMS

Disclosed are methods and systems for removing submicron particles from a gas stream, in particular from urea prilling off-gas, wherein a Venturi ejector is used. A method comprises contacting a gas stream containing submicron particles in a Venturi ejector with an injected high velocity scrubbing liquid to provide a pumping action, wherein the scrubbing liquid has an initial velocity of at least 25 m/s and wherein the ratio of scrubbing liquid and gas flow is between 0.0005 and 0.0015 (m.sup.3/h)/(m.sup.3/h).

A method for producing valuable organic liquid from a biomass wherein a gas is heated to a predetermined temperature to produce a heated gas. The heated gas is mixed with a biomass to produce an enriched organic vapor and a biomass waste product. The biomass waste product is separated from the enriched organic vapor. The enriched organic vapor is cooled to produce a liquid organic oil and the liquid organic oil is collected. A system for producing the liquid organic oil wherein the system includes a heat source for heating a gas to produce a heated gas and a first separation unit to separate an enriched organic vapor and a biomass waste product. The enriched organic vapor and the biomass waste product are generated from mixing the heated gas and a biomass. The system also includes a wet scrubber for cooling the enriched organic vapor to remove certain compounds from the enriched organic vapor to generate an enriched organic smoke. The organic smoke can be transformed to the liquid organic oil in an electrostatic precipitator.

Provided is a scrubber system in which by improving a structure of an existing scrubber inlet preventer, a diameter of the lower end of a second cleaning liquid buffer forming the lower end of the inlet preventer is extended, a separate nozzle is installed in a lower pipe part to prevent generated powder from blocking the lower end of the inlet preventer, a path of a material to be treated first descends along the inlet preventer and then first ascends along a first chamber and a second chamber, second descends to a third chamber again, wherein the an automatic pressure control system including a venturi is installed on the upper end of the third chamber to prevent a backflow of the material to be treated, and then is guided to a fourth chamber with a polypropylene absorber to second descend in the fourth chamber and discharged to an outlet.

Gas Scrubber for Removing Particles from an Exhaust Gas and an Exhaust Gas Disposal System with a Gas Scrubber

A gas scrubber and a waste gas treatment system with a gas scrubber for removing particles from a waste gas has a housing with a waste gas inlet and a waste gas outlet. A substantially circular plate member defining an axis of rotation is rotatably arranged in the housing. Waste gas fed into the housing via the waste gas inlet is directed toward approximately the center of the circular plate member. An outlet nozzle sprays a liquid, especially a cleaning liquid or a scrubbing liquid, onto the circular plate member, in order to obtain a mixture of waste gas and liquid in front of the plate member. A combination of inner and outer rotor arrays, and inner and outer stator arrays are arranged alternatingly and concentrically relative to each other, and separated from the circular plate member, and rotate about the axis of rotation. A rotary atomizer for atomizing the mixture of waste gas and liquid may be arranged on the circular plate member. Particles from the waste gas stream are transferred into the liquid.
