Filter Element, Element Frame of a Filter Element, Filter Bellows of a Filter Element, Filter Housing, and Filter
A fluid filter has a filter housing with inlet opening for fluid to be cleaned and outlet opening for cleaned fluid. A filter element arranged in an element receptacle of the filter housing separates inlet opening from outlet opening. The filter housing has a housing body with an installation opening to the element receptacle, through which the filter element in an installation direction is introduced into the element receptacle. The filter housing has a housing cover for closing the installation opening. The installation opening is arranged in a transverse side of the housing body that is lateral relative to the housing axis. The filter housing has a sealing surface, surrounding the housing axis at least partially circumferentially, for contacting a seal of the filter element. The filter element has a seal support device for the seal and the filter housing has a pressing device for the seal support device.
Systems and methods for heat recovery
A filter unit heat exchanger is provided that may include a housing substantially surrounding a heat exchange assembly. Provided through the housing are one or more tortuous fluid flow paths used to direct airflow therethrough around portions of the heat exchange assembly for efficient operation. The tortuous path(s) may be provided by one or more nozzle openings on an input side of the housing and one or more diffuser openings on an output side of the housing, where the nozzle openings and diffuser openings are offset to cause desired airflow deflection. The filter unit may include desired symmetries to improve manufacturability and/or installation.
Device for separating liquid from a gas stream within a liquid injected compressor and method thereof
A device for separating liquid from a gas stream within a liquid injected compressor, said device including a first vessel including a first bottom plate, a first lateral wall comprising an inlet fluidly connected with a compressed gas outlet and a lid including an outlet, the device further including: a first separation means; a second separation means; and a third separation means; whereby the device further includes an inlet channel being in fluid communication with said inlet, said inlet channel including a top panel and a bottom panel, whereby at least said top panel is creating a slope, having the highest point onto the first lateral wall and the lowest point at the opposite end.
Process for removal of aerosol droplets
The present disclosure relates to a process for removal of an aerosol, comprising the steps of directing a process gas comprising an aerosol to contact an inertial demister providing a first demisted process gas, and directing the first demisted process gas to contact a coalescing demister providing a second demisted process gas, characterized in said first inertial demister being more open than said coalescing demister, where more open is defined as having a higher void fraction or a lower density with the associated benefit of such a process providing an efficient removal of a large volume of liquid from the inertial demister, while avoiding flooding of the demister system. It further relates to a process plant for sulfuric acid production employing such a pair of demisters.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASPIRATING A PRE-CLEANER OF A WORK VEHICLE USING A DOUBLE-WALLED FLOW PIPE
A system for aspirating a pre-cleaner of a work vehicle may include a fluid conduit in flow communication with an outlet port of the pre-cleaner for receiving an aspirated airflow from the pre-cleaner. The system may also include a double-walled flow pipe having an inner tube that receives a primary fluid flow of the work vehicle. The double-walled flow pipe may also include an outer tube surrounding the inner tube such that an annular passage is defined between the inner and outer tubes. The annular passage may be in flow communication with the fluid conduit. When a vacuum is applied to the annular passage, the aspirated airflow may be drawn through the fluid conduit from the pre-cleaner and directed to the annular passage. The aspirated airflow flows through the annular passage as the primary fluid flow is being directed through the inner tube.
Filter element support assembly, quick installation system, and methods
A filter element support assembly for mounting a filter element to a tube sheet includes a plurality of elongated rods; a first clamp having a through-hole; the first clamp defining a plurality of rod seats sized to receive a first end of one of the rods; a clamp rod extending through the through-hole in the first clamp; a second clamp having a through-hole; the clamp rod extending through the second clamp through-hole; the second clamp being mounted against the first clamp; the second clamp having radially projecting bumps mounted against the rods adjacent to the first clamp to hold the rods in the rod seats; a plurality of feet; each foot being secured to a second end of one of the rods; and a handle secured to an end of the clamp rod.
