The disclosure discloses an anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The air filter membrane comprises a nano fiber membrane made of nano fibers and having a two-dimensional or three-dimensional network structure. The nano fiber membrane can be a high-molecular polymer nano fiber membrane prepared by utilizing an electrostatic spinning process, and can also be doped with an organic or inorganic additive capable of adsorbing and absorbing harmful gases, such as VOCs, NO.sub.x, SO.sub.x and NH.sub.3, in the air and/or a photocatalyst capable of degrading these harmful gases in a photocatalysis manner, or the like. The anti-haze anti-harmful gas air filter membrane disclosed by the disclosure can efficiently filter PM2.5 and PM10 particulate pollutants and the like in the air and simultaneously can efficiently identify and clear multiple harmful gases in the air. The device includes a reactor, two electrocatalytic anodes capable of generating hydroxyl radicals, an electrocatalytic cathode membrane assembly, a direct current power supply, an aeration system, an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe. The device of the present invention has a simple construction. Using this device to treat industrial wastewater containing copper complexes under specific conditions allows the decomplexation and the removal of the industrial wastewater containing the copper complexes to be simultaneously realized at a low consumption and a high efficiency. The coupling of electrochemistry with membrane separation can be achieved to protect the cathode from being contaminated by pollutants in the sewage and prolong the service life of the electrode.

This invention relates thin film nanocomposites (TFNCs) and methods of preparing the same by molecular layer-by-layer assembly. The TFNCs comprise a porous nanofibrous support first layer coated with a mid-layer having an outer separating layer, wherein the out separating layer has one or more bilayers or trilayers. The TFNCs can be particularly suitable for use as filtration membranes for the separation of dissolved components from fluids such as ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, and reverse osmosis. Thus, embodiments of the invention also include filtration systems and methods of filtering.
