PORTABLE MODULAR FILTER SYSTEM
The present invention provides a portable high throughput liquid filter system.
Systems and methods for controlling waterborne pathogens
Systems and methods to control colonization, amplification and/or growth of waterborne aerobic heterotrophic bacteria within potable water plumbing of a premises are provided, the premises having potable water plumbing having at least one point of use within the premises, the potable water plumbing being adapted to receive a potable water supply from a municipal water source. The systems and methods to control colonization, amplification, and/or growth of waterborne aerobic heterotrophic bacteria within cooling towers and evaporative condensers, recirculates system water through a deoxygenation device to reduce dissolved oxygen levels and prevent bacterial respiration within the heat exchanger and pressurized lines.
Fluid treatment system and method of use utilizing a membrane
A variable oil field fluid treatment system and method of use which utilizes a pump, a desanding hydrocyclone, and/or a non-consumable or consumable mechanical solids filter, a membrane filtration unit, a pump, a granular carbon filter, and/or combinations therein.
FILTER SYSTEM
A novel fluid filter includes a partially permeable elastic bag encapsulating a filtration medium, and providing pressure i prevent channeling. A receiver with one or more apertures tits at least partially within the filtration bag to receive treated fluid. A cover may be placed over a tube of the receiver to prevent filtration medium from exiting systems An upper portion of the filtration bag is impermeable, while the lower portion of the bag is permeable. The fluid path flows over the top and up through the lower section and through a major path through the filtration medium.
Water Filtration Device for Aircraft Galley Plumbing System
A potable water filter for an aircraft galley plumbing system is disclosed. In embodiments, the filter includes a body attachable to a mount via a central threaded attachment stud. The stud is surrounded by a filter mount chamber and encloses a central flow channel allowing outflow from the filter body to an outlet port. Potable water enters the mount through an inlet port including a barrel valve that opens to allow water flow when the filter body is screwed onto the stud, and seals off the filter mount chamber when the filter body is absent. The outlet port includes a check valve to prevent backflow into the filter. The filter body houses a solid block of sintered carbon with a hollow core. Water enters the filter chamber and flows around and through the carbon filter before flowing down to the outlet port. The filter body self-vents at its top.
Novel Single-Stage Filtration System
The Invention relates to a novel single-stage filtration system, including a joint and a filter element, wherein the joint is mounted on the filter element, the joint includes a joint body, a water inlet sealing ring, a water inlet cover plate and a water inlet clamp, a water outlet sealing ring, a water outlet cover plate and a water outlet clamp, the joint body includes a water inlet cavity, a water outlet cavity, a water inlet joint, a water outlet joint, a connecting flange, a water inlet sealing cavity, a water outlet sealing cavity, a hanging piece and a reinforcing rib, the water inlet cavity of the joint body is an L-shaped cylindrical cavity, one end of the water inlet cavity is connected with the water inlet joint, and the other end of the water inlet cavity is in the water inlet sealing cavity, the water outlet cavity is a circular cylindrical cavity. The Invention improves the wear of a connector caused by the repeated disassembly of a filter through the arrangement of the novel single-stage filtration system, and ensures the sealing performance of the filtration system.
GRANULAR FILTRATION MEDIA MIXTURE AND USES IN WATER PURIFICATION
Provided is a granular filtration media comprising a mixture of granular filtration media and less than 2.5% of nanofibers based on the dry weight, method of making the same and uses of the same for removing contaminants from water, including metals, heavy metals, synthetic or natural organic matters, colloidal or suspended particles to improve the chemical safety and purity of water for the purpose of water purification, specifically, one embodiment of the present invention disclosed is use of the granular filtration media to remove particulate lead from high pH water.
FILTER CARTRIDGE FOR A WHOLE HOUSE WATER FILTERING SYSTEM
A filter cartridge for a whole house water filter includes a cylindrical, or tubular, filter media coupled to a mixer tank with improved high flow mixing features. The mixer tank includes a bowl in which a flow diverter, a flow guide with angled fins and a filter media are provided. The flow diverter has a concave portion, i.e., a mushroom-shaped portion, the interior of which is in fluid connection with a central passage through which filtered water flows. In operation, the filtered water flows through the central passage and is deflected by the concave interior of the flow diverter down through the angled fins of the flow guide. The filtered water then passes out through an outlet. The mixer tank stirs the filter media and water mix to increase the kinetics of the mixing process.
Multistage shower water filter and water filtering method
A multistage shower filter assembly for water filtering having an in-line reversible filter, changeable by unscrewing two portions of the housing. The housing exterior includes a plurality of gripping means to allow easy opening and closing of the housing and to prevent slippage of the hands of a user gripping the two portions, even when wet. The multistage shower filter assembly includes a separate internal multistage filter element that may be easily inserted into or removed from the multistage shower filter assembly to allow the internal filter element to be easily reversed for longer use.
WATER-PURIFICATION CARTRIDGE AND WATER PURIFIER
Provided is a water-purification cartridge to be replaceably accommodated in an accommodating portion of a water purifier. The cartridge includes activated carbon that removes impurities from water, forms, within the water purifier, a raw water flow path through which raw water flows downstream without passing through the activated carbon and a water purification flow path through which raw water flows downstream while passing through the activated carbon, and further includes a buffer portion that is disposed, within the water purifier, at a position upstream of flow path switching valves for selecting discharge from the raw water flow path or discharge from the water purification flow path and downstream of the activated carbon and that cuts off a water hammer propagating from the flow path switching valves to the activated carbon.
