WATER FAUCET HAVING A CAPSULE-BASED FILTER
A water faucet or water tap includes, in its base area or other suitable area or region, a built-in or embedded or integrated filtering mechanism. The filtering mechanism includes a nonelectrical filtering chamber, having a cavity for securing therein a replaceable water-filtering capsule. A suitable water-filtering capsule, having an active filtering component or a passive filtering component, is inserted into the non-electrical filtering chamber, and can be removed from it for periodical replacement. Optionally, the water-filtering capsule includes a scent-producing agent, a flavor-producing agent, or a nutrient or a supplement, which are added to the filtered water. Optionally, a bypass mechanism or water-diverting mechanism enables to select between: a first mode in which a first water-outlet outputs non-filtered mixed hot-and-cold water; and a second mode in which a second water-outlet outputs filtered cold water or filtered room-temperature water.
Surface-Modified Carbon and Sorbents for Improved Efficiency in Removal of Gaseous Contaminants
A material, and filters and other structures exposed to flowing gas that have the material therein, which removes VOCs, such as formaldehyde, from the gas. The material is a porous sorbent impregnated by a metal oxide, such as manganese oxide (MnOx) nano particles. The sorbent may be activated carbon, and the manganese oxide may catalyze formaldehyde to water and carbon dioxide while the carbon may adsorb formaldehyde, both mechanisms of which remove the VOC from the air to prevent or reduce inhalation of the same by humans. The material may be combined with an untreated sorbent or sorbent treated with ionic alkaline salts.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MOVING, REMOVING AND/OR INSTALLING ONE OR MORE COMPONENTS OF A TREATMENT UNIT
Devices and methods associated therewith for facilitating movement, removal and/or installation of components from treatment units (e.g., water treatment units and wastewater treatment units). The treatment unit can take the form of a granular media filter (e.g., upflow filter, downflow filter or bi-flow filter) or a sludge collection basin. One preferred device is one or more floats facilitating safe removal of components of a treatment unit. The float(s) can be operably associated with an air scour system of a water filter to remove the air scour system from a granular media filter bed. The float(s) can be operably associated with a collection grid of a sludge collection container facilitating safe removal of the collection grid from the sludge collection container. Another preferred device is a flexible piping/conduit operably connected to a pressurized air source and an air scour system to assist in removal/installation of the air scour system.
STANDBY WATER SOURCE FILTER SYSTEM
Disclosed is a standby water source filter system comprising a filter device, a water pump, water softening equipment and a reverse osmosis (RO) device, wherein the filter device, the water softening equipment and the reverse osmosis (RO) device are sequentially connected in series, an inlet of the filter device is connected with a standby water source, and an outlet of the reverse osmosis (RO) device is connected with downstream water-production equipment. The standby water source filter system can remove impurities, bacteria and saline matter in water through filtering, softening and reverse osmosis (RO), raw material conditions required by the downstream water-production equipment are met, and the service life of the downstream water-production equipment is prolonged.
PRIMARY FILTER AND STORAGE SYSTEM
Disclosed is a primary filter and storage system comprising a power source, a water pump, a filter device, an ultraviolet sterilization device, a water storage device and a control circuit, wherein an inlet of the filter device is connected with a water source, and an outlet of the filter device is connected with the ultraviolet sterilization device; an outlet of the ultraviolet sterilization device is connected with the water storage device. The primary filter and storage system can be used for primary optimization and storage of pure water obtained through air purification and condensation, and thus the pure water can be further optimized by the next-stage water purification system conveniently to reach the standard of the optimal drinking water.
Waste water diffuser
This application claims a system for the distribution of waste water. The invention allows water to drain from a source into the invention, where the water is distributed and diffused through a collection of outlets. Thus a large amount of water can be distributed over a large area so that the environment can more easily absorb the water and the flow of water does not cause erosion. The preferred embodiment of the invention optionally may include one or more filters to remove substances from the water before distribution.
PORTABLE MODULAR FILTER SYSTEM
The present disclosure provides a portable high throughput liquid filter system.

SELF-REGENERATING BIOFILTER
The present invention is a self-regenerating biofilter. The biofilter tank receives untreated water through an intake inlet, filters it through a filtration mass and expels purified water through an output outlet. The filtration mass includes gravel and activated carbon layers separated by a mesh screen. A compressed air line is located below the mesh screen. Periodically, the biofilter self-cleans by opening a flush valve that expels a flush water stream carrying debris. The biofilter self-regenerates by periodically stopping filtration for a time, allowing biological matter left on the activated carbon to degrade into biomass. Periodically, the biofilter removes and flushes out biomass by application of water or a combination of air and water.
