Apparatus for forward mounting attachments to a wheeled vehicle
An apparatus, system and method of securing attachments to a utility vehicle, particularly a stand-on, zero-turn mower. The apparatus includes an A-shaped mounting assembly having a base with first and second ends and a tubular member extending outwardly from the first end. The tubular member defines a bore that receives a shaft extending from the attachment. The mounting assembly is positioned vertically above a mower deck but on an opposite side of the mower frame. The second end of the mounting assembly and part of the mower deck are secured to the frame using the same connectors. A hydraulic actuator engages a forwardmost end of the assembly and is actuatable to raise or lower the assembly relative to the frame, pivoting the assembly about the connectors. The attachment and mower deck are substantially simultaneously operable to perform separate landscaping tasks while the mower moves across a surface.
Tilt cylinder remote attachment apparatus
A header is removably attached to lift arms of an agricultural harvester and by a tilt cylinder pivotable about an axis A between an elevated installation position and a lower operational position. A perch assembly including a perch is positioned adjacent axis A to remotely pivot the tilt cylinder between the installation and operating positions and a downwardly facing hook shaped latching device is mounted on the tilt cylinder to engage and attach to a mounting pin on the header.
SUN SCREEN STRUCTURE
A sun shade for a lawn maintenance tool includes a bracket configured to accommodate a profile of the lawn maintenance tool to the rear of the seat. A frame is configured to cooperate with the bracket, and a fastener attaches the frame and the bracket to the lawn maintenance tool. A quantity of material is attached to the frame above the lawn maintenance tool, where the material is configured to inhibit passage of sunlight through the material. In further examples, the sun shade can be foldable at one or more locations by using breakaway hinges. A kit including the sun shade can also be used to modify the lawn maintenance tool.
METHOD OF FORWARD MOUNTING ATTACHMENTS TO A WHEELED VEHICLE
An apparatus, system and method of securing attachments to a utility vehicle, particularly a stand-on, zero-turn mower. The apparatus includes an A-shaped mounting assembly having a base with first and second ends and a tubular member extending outwardly from the first end. The tubular member defines a bore that receives a shaft extending from the attachment. The mounting assembly is positioned vertically above a mower deck but on an opposite side of the frame of the mower relative thereto.
Operator's Deck and Ladder Assembly for an Articulated Harvesting Combine
Disclosed is a harvesting combine having a cab for an operator, a wheel assembly adjacent to a stairs assembly having a top and a bottom, and an improved stairs assembly for accessing the cab by the operator. The improved stairs assembly in a deployed state is angled outwardly from the top of the stairs assembly. The stairs assembly is rotatably connected about its bottom to both raise the stairs assembly and move its bottom inwardly. The stairs assembly is movably connected by a track assembly about its top so as to permit the top of the stairs assembly to move inwardly and upwardly when the stairs assembly is raised from its deployed state. The stairs assembly may be angled outwardly from the top end of the stairs assembly to an angle from the vertical of greater than 15 and may be rigidly anchored at its lower end.
ELECTRIC MOWER
An electric mower includes: a wheel; a body frame including a right frame section and a left frame section and supported by the wheel on ground; a battery between the right frame section and the left frame section in a plan view; and a plate unit supported by the body frame and supporting the battery from below, the plate unit including: at least one first plate supported by the right frame section and the left frame section; a second plate forward of the at least one first plate; a third plate backward of the at least one first plate; and a fourth plate supported by the at least one first plate and supporting the second plate and the third plate.
Quick storage cradle for combine multicoupler
An agricultural harvester including a header assembly, includes: a multicoupler storage assembly including: a multicoupler assembly including a plurality of at least one of hydraulic connectors and electrical connectors; and a cradle mechanism configured for storing the multicoupler assembly and for selectively pivoting between a receiving position associated with the cradle mechanism receiving the multicoupler assembly and a storage position associated with the cradle mechanism storing the multicoupler assembly.
The mounting assembly is positioned vertically above a mower deck but on an opposite side of the frame of the mower.
Latching device for header mounting apparatus
A header is removably attached to lift arms of an agricultural harvester by mounting pins received in upwardly facing recesses on the ends of lift arms. A bar is moved into locking position by a lever arm mounted on the lift arms to hold the header mounting pins in place. A hook shaped latching device is pivotally mounted on the lift arm adjacent the lever arm for capturing it in place against the lift arm.
Mid-Mount Mower
A mid-mount mower has a mower unit mounted under a vehicle body between front wheels and rear wheels. The mower includes a lift link mechanism having a front link and a rear link, an intermediate structure interconnecting one end of the front link and one end of the rear link via a pivot axis, a blade housing having an engaged portion engageable with an engaging potion of the intermediate structure and a guide face configured to guide the engaging portion ad the engaged portion to an engaging position so as to establish connection between the blade housing placed on a ground surface and the intermediate structure in association with a movement of the vehicle body in a front/rear direction.
