A rotary cutter implement includes a carrier interface, a frame, and a mower deck including a ball joint interconnecting the mower deck with the frame. The ball joint enables freedom of movement of the mower deck with respect to the frame. A hydraulic motor is mounted on an upper surface of the mower deck and includes an output shaft extending through the mower deck. The hydraulic motor is adapted to operate under the influence of hydraulic fluid provided by the power machine. A rotary cutting blade is operably coupled to the output shaft and rotatable under the mower deck in response to operation of the hydraulic motor.

A pull-type crop engaging machine such as a rotary mower comprises a frame mounted on transversely spaced field ground wheels for movement with a hitch arm extending to a tractor and a transport assembly attached behind the frame for moving downwardly to a transport position so that in the transport position the hitch arm extends from one end of the frame generally in the transverse direction for towing the machine in the transverse direction. The transport includes a transport ground wheel which acts to raise the frame to pass underneath the crop engaging system to support the machine on the wheel, on a second wheel behind the frame and on the hitch. The movement of the hitch and the wheel is connected and started at a position of the hitch so that the machine remains balanced. A shield behind the frame includes a portion which moves with the transport wheel.
METHOD OF ENGAGING AND UTILIZING AN ATTACHMENT ON A POWER UNIT
A system and method for detachably securing an attachment to a zero-turn utility vehicle such as a zero-turn, stand-on mower. The system includes a mounting assembly provided on a hydraulically operated support member on the utility vehicle's frame; and a connector assembly provided on the attachment. The mounting assembly includes a pivotable plate member that is inserted into the complementary shaped connector assembly. The plate member includes a locking rod at an upper end. The connector assembly has side walls and a top wall that surround the plate member when the mounting assembly is engaged with the connector assembly. The top wall overhangs and captures the locking rod between the top wall and a back wall of the attachment. A locking mechanism secures the mounting assembly and connector assembly together. Moving the attachment is accomplished by actuating the hydraulic system on the utility vehicle to move the support member.
Autonomous travel robotic working machine
The autonomous travel working machine includes a working body unit, a cover unit, and a connecting structure unit connecting the working body unit and the cover unit. The connecting structure unit includes a body connecting section attached to the working body unit and a cover connecting section attached to the cover unit. When the cover unit is lifted, a shaft portion of the cover unit is slid upwardly with respect to a head portion of the working body unit so that the cover unit is moved upwardly or lifted with respect to the working body unit. When the working machine hits against an obstacle, an intermediate portion of the body connecting section is resiliently deformed in a lateral direction so that the cover unit is moved with respect to the working body unit substantially only in the lateral direction.

A modular frame system for a sugarcane harvester includes a base frame section having a forward end and an aft end, with the base frame section defining a forward interface portion at the forward end. The system also includes a plurality of interchangeable front frame sections configured to be removably coupled to the base frame section, with each front frame section having a unique frame arrangement as compared to the remainder of the interchangeable front frame sections such that each front frame section is adapted to provide a differing harvesting configuration for the sugarcane harvester when selected for installation on the base frame section. Moreover, each front frame section includes a front end and a rear interface end, with the rear interface ends of the interchangeable front frame sections defining a common interface portion configured to be coupled to the forward interface portion of the base frame section.

An agricultural machine includes a trail frame, a wheel arm, a field wheel, a tongue, and a latch mechanism for releasably securing the trail frame to the tongue. The latch mechanism includes a catch mounted on the trail frame for pivoting about a fulcrum, a receiver on the tongue, the catch engageable with the receiver, a spring acting between the catch and trail frame on a first side of the fulcrum for biasing the catch into engagement with the receiver, and a rigid link acting between the wheel arm and the catch on a second side of the fulcrum. Pivoting motion of the wheel arm moving the field wheel away from the trail frame causes movement of the rigid link, and, once a pre-defined lost motion is overcome, continued movement of the rigid link causes pivoting of the catch about the fulcrum and disengagement of the catch from the receiver.
