BYPASS VALVE WITH VARIABLE FILTER
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for bypass flow filtering. A bypass valve filter includes at least one wall configured to engage a surface of a bypass valve and a filter surface having a plurality of openings between an inside of the at least one wall and an outside of the at least one wall. One or more openings of the plurality of openings have a first size and one or more other openings of the plurality of openings have a second size, wherein the first size is different than the second size to define different levels of filtering. The bypass valve further includes an open end configured to allow fluid flow therethrough and to the plurality of openings.
COALESCING MEDIA
Some embodiments relate to a filter material for coalescing a dispersed phase in a continuous phase. The filter material has binder fibers and irregular rayon fibers distributed among the binder fibers. The filter material lacks non-fibrous resin. Some embodiments relate to a filter assembly. The filter assembly has a particle filtration layer, a coalescing layer downstream of the particle filtration layer, and a growth media downstream of the coalescing layer. The coalescing layer is coupled to the particle filtration layer. The growth media has irregular rayon fibers and binder fibers distributed among the irregular rayon fibers. The growth media lacks non-fibrous resin.
HYDROCARBON ABSORBING FILTER
A hydrocarbon absorbing cone filter for an air intake system may include a generally truncated cone shaped media filter and an internal hydrocarbon absorbing element therein. The hydrocarbon absorbing element may absorb hydrocarbons at the clean air side of an air stream flowing through the media filter and into a combustion engine system.

A pourer for pouring a liquid from a bottle having a solid main body; a flow channel at the main body; a check valve at the flow channel; an air-vent channel at the main body; and a filter at the air-vent channel. The flow channel and the check valve are configured for allowing via the same a flow of the liquid from inside the bottle towards outside the bottle under the action of gravity when the bottle is turned to a pouring position for pouring the liquid; the air-vent channel is configured for allowing air from outside the bottle to pass inside the bottle via the air-vent channel during the flow of the liquid; and the filter is configured for producing a filtration of the air when the latter passes from outside the bottle to inside the bottle via the air-vent channel. Also, a product includes the pourer.
PHOTOCATALYST FOR AIR PURIFICATION, AND CERAMIC CATALYST FILTER AND AIR PURIFICATION DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A photocatalyst for air purification, a photocatalyst film including the photocatalyst, and an air purification device including the photocatalyst. The photocatalyst for air purification includes: a first metal oxide particle having ultraviolet absorptivity, and fluorine bound to a surface of the first metal oxide particle; second metal oxide particles present on the surface of the first metal oxide particle. The use of the photocatalyst for air purification to remove or degrade volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and viruses.
