Methods and apparatuses for missing filter detection and prevention in rotating coalescer designs
Systems and methods for detecting a missing coalescing element in a CV system are described. In some arrangements, the described systems and methods prevent the assembly and/or re-assembly of the CV system without an appropriate coalescing element positioned within the CV system housing (e.g., during a coalescing element service operation). In some arrangements, the coalescing element depresses a spring-loaded component of a shaft that provides flow of bypass gases to the CV system. If the spring-loaded component is not depressed, significant restriction is introduced to the CV system, and an on-board-diagnostic system may detect high-crankcase pressure through existing crankcase pressure sensors and de-rate the internal combustion engine. In other arrangements, a spring-loaded mechanism within the shaft prevents a housing cover (e.g., a lid to the housing of the CV system) from being repositioned when a coalescing element is not installed within the housing.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A FILTER SYSTEM
A filter for use in filtering a fluid slurry that includes particles of varying size, such as pool water including debris, is provided. The filter is in electrical communication with a sensor and includes a housing having an inlet to receive the fluid slurry, an outlet, and an internal chamber. An actuator can be coupled to the filter media to move at least a portion of the filter media to vary a dimension of the pores. The filter also includes a controller connected to the actuator that is capable of receiving a signal from the sensor and controls the actuator to change the dimension of the pores based on the signal.
WATER-PURIFICATION CARTRIDGE AND WATER PURIFIER
Provided is a water-purification cartridge to be replaceably accommodated in an accommodating portion of a water purifier. The cartridge includes activated carbon that removes impurities from water, forms, within the water purifier, a raw water flow path through which raw water flows downstream without passing through the activated carbon and a water purification flow path through which raw water flows downstream while passing through the activated carbon, and further includes a buffer portion that is disposed, within the water purifier, at a position upstream of flow path switching valves for selecting discharge from the raw water flow path or discharge from the water purification flow path and downstream of the activated carbon and that cuts off a water hammer propagating from the flow path switching valves to the activated carbon.
FILTER CARTRIDGE CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR WATER PURIFIER
Disclosed is a filter cartridge connecting structure for a water purifier, including: a plurality of connectors; and a plurality of filter cartridges each having a mounting part and a groove formed on the mounting part, wherein each connector includes: an upper body having a water inlet port, a water inlet pipe, a filter cartridge insertion pipe, a water outlet port, and a finishing cap; a lower body having a tunnel-shaped guide part, an operating hole, operating grooves, and slant projections; and a detachable member having a front surface guided to the guide part of the lower body and one side movable forward and backward on the operating hole in such a manner as to supportedly lock the groove of the mounting part of the filter cartridge guided under the lower body thereonto.
OIL HOUSING, FILTER ELEMENT, AND VALVING ASSEMBLY FOR PROVIDING PRE-CHARGED OIL VOLUME CHANGES
A housing and valving assembly for providing pre-charged oil filters wherein the housing is capable of interfacing with a mount interface, wherein the housing is configured to retain a volume of contaminated oil upon removal, and wherein the valving assembly is configured to minimize oil leakage upon insertion and removal of the housing from the mount interface.
Water filter cartridge with slanted nozzles
A water filter cartridge has an end cap with inlet and outlet nozzles extending from the end cap. A lateral support extends laterally from at least one of the nozzles. A projection extends from the lateral support toward a receiving manifold to cooperate with the manifold during use. The lateral support is offset from the end cap so the projection is vertically offset from an end of the cartridge and laterally offset from and supported from the nozzles.
Filter System, Filter, and Method
A filter system for liquid has a filter head with drainage channel and stop element. A filter cartridge is mounted by screw-in movement at the filter head and has a support ring rotatably fastened to its housing part. The support ring has an eccentric closure element and a first positioning element guided toward the stop element by the screw-in movement to position the support ring at the filter head in a rotational position for axially aligning closure element and drainage channel. The closure element is transferred axially into a sealing seat at the filter head to close the drainage channel when screwing on the filter cartridge. The support ring has a second positioning element holding the support ring in a rotationally fixed position at the filter head when unscrewing the filter cartridge so that the closure element is moved out of the sealing seat only in an axial direction.
Filter Element Having an End-Side Stand
A filter element for filtering a fluid is connectable to a filter head with a drainage channel. The filter element has a closure element that closes the drainage channel of the filter head when the filter element is connected to the filter head. The closure element is eccentrically arranged relative to a longitudinal axis of the filter element at an end face of the filter element. The closure element extends away from the end face of the filter element in an axial direction of the filter element. A stand is locked at the filter element and extends away from the end face of the filter element in the axial direction to a level of a free end of the closure element or past the free end of the closure element.
Water filter cartridge having an air vent
A water filter system including a filter cartridge removably secured in a container. The filter cartridge includes a handle extending from the filter cartridge, where the handle includes at least one vent hole, so that air within the filter housing moves outwardly through the at least vent hole during filtration.
