Water purifier structure

A water purifier structure includes a container assembly and a buffer unit mounted in the container assembly. The container assembly includes a housing and a cap unit. The housing has a first receiving section and a second receiving section. The second receiving section of the housing is provided with a retaining portion. The buffer unit is mounted in the second receiving section of the housing and includes a positioning ring secured in the retaining portion of the housing, and a cushioning member mounted in the positioning ring. The cushioning member is elastically movable in the positioning ring. When the cushioning member is compressed by a force, the cushioning member is contracted and elastically deformed toward the second receiving section of the housing, to form a buffering force.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF A NEW OR EXISTING FILTER FOR FILTERING WATER OR WASTEWATER
20230211259 · 2023-07-06 ·

Devices and methods associated with these devices for significantly improving the efficiency of an existing or new filter having a granular media filter bed. The methods and devices are designed to increase the height and hence overall volume of the filter bed to allow for longer filtration runs between washing or cleaning cycles of the granular media filter bed. One embodiment includes a multi-wash trough adapter that upon removal of an existing deep wash trough connects two shallow wash troughs or two shallow wash trough channels to an existing wash trough opening formed in a wall of a filter compartment. The shallow members have a height significantly less than the height of the existing deep wash trough, e.g., one third to one half of the height of the existing deep wash trough allowing the volume of the granular media filter bed to be significantly increased.

Methods for removal and replacement of a filter element cartridge including an attachment member

A filter assembly includes a canister housing closable by a lid and containing a removable and replaceable filter element cartridge. The lid is part of the filter element cartridge and a single unitary component therewith, such that removal of the filter element cartridge also removes the lid, and replacement of the filter element cartridge also replaces the lid.

A system is provided for removing oil from an oil filter of a motor vehicle. The system includes a housing with a top rim, an upper portion, a lower portion, and a bottom rim. The top rim of the housing includes a first diameter. The housing includes the bottom rim with a second diameter that is less than the first diameter. The system also includes an upper cap with a flange including a first side and an opposing second side. The flange is disposed at a top portion of the upper cap. The first side of the flange is coupled to the top rim of the housing. A bottom portion of the upper cap extends into the housing. The upper cap includes a central aperture for draining the oil from the oil filter into the housing.

ROTARY INTERFACE FOR FLUID ASSEMBLIES AND RELATED METHODS OF FABRICATION AND USE

The present disclosure provides advantageous rotary interfaces for fluid assemblies (e.g., rotary interfaces for fluid flow in bioreactor applications), and related methods of fabrication and use. More particularly, the present disclosure provides improved rotary interfaces for fluid flow through porous impellers for filtration and/or sparging for fluid assemblies (e.g., bioreactor applications), and related methods of fabrication and use. Disclosed herein is a fluid assembly (e.g., bioreactor) that includes a porous impeller which is in fluid communication with a hollow shaft that can be used to transport a reaction fluid to an external storage tank or the like. The fluid assembly/bioreactor can include a coupling mechanism that transmits rotary motion from a motor to a primary shaft and then to a hollow secondary shaft, while at the same time permitting removal of a filtrate from the fluid assembly or bioreactor via the hollow secondary shaft and a porous impeller.

Advanced Fuel Filtration System with Interlocking Cartridge Seal Design

A filter assembly includes a filter element and a filter housing. The filter housing includes a shell defining an inner cavity, and a lid configured to engage the shell at an opening of the inner cavity. The filter element is disposed within the inner cavity and includes a media pack, a first endplate, and a sealing member. The first endplate is sealingly engaged with a media pack first end and includes a skirt extending along a longitudinal axis of the media pack from the first end toward the second end. The sealing member is coupled to the skirt and is positioned between and forms a seal between the lid and the shell.

Particle filter as well as method for the manufacture thereof

A method for manufacturing a filter (1) for gas masks includes providing a flat paper and folding the paper into a pleated preform. The filter element (2) is separated from the pleated preform (6) and is inserted into a housing (3). The inserted filter element (2) is connected to the housing (3) at least at some points. This filter elements (2) may have a polygonal outer contour, upon separating the element from the pleated filter preform (6). A foam and/or an adhesive is applied to an outer edge of the filter element (2), arranged on the circumference of the filter element, for an at least partial sealing of an edge (5). This establishes a connection to the housing (3) in at least some sections.

Gasket seal for spin-on filter housing

Briefly, the present invention relates, in one embodiment, to a gasket for sealing a filter housing to a filter mount. The gasket may have an upper body and a lower body which seals between the filter housing and filter head. The gasket may include chamfered surfaces to allow for properly sealing against manufacturing tolerances, and may include an annular groove which receives the filter housing and stabilizes the gasket during installation.
