Filter element
A filter device with a removable termination part (81; 82) and a housing (3) that receives a replaceable filter element (5) having two end caps (25,47). Between the end caps, a filter material (12) extends. A positioning device (65) is arranged between the termination part (81; 82) and one end cap (47). The positioning device positions the filter element (5) within the housing (3), at least when viewed in the circumferential direction of the filter element, in interaction with at least one corresponding positioning element (71) of the end cap (47).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FILTER ORIENTATION ON A CONTROL VALVE
Systems and methods for filter orientation on a control valve are provided. In particular, systems and methods are provided for rotationally orienting a filter retention feature with respect to an application fluid passageway to control forces and stresses exerted on the filter retention feature. Additionally, methods for manufacturing a control valve are provided that enable a rotational relationship between a filter retention feature and an application fluid passageway to be constrained.
PUSH FILTER WITH FLOATING KEY LOCK
A filter housing assembly for fluid filtration which may be attached to, and removed from, a filter base by a push-actuated release. The filter housing assembly has a top portion with an ingress port and egress port extending therefrom, and a protrusion extending from the filter housing longitudinally axial center. The ingress and egress port are formed in an hourglass shape. A filter key having a base with a groove for mating with said projection, at least one finger extending from said base, and an electronic circuit component housing attached thereto for receiving a printed circuit board, is connected to the filter housing top portion by mating said top portion protrusion with the filter key groove. Both of said ingress and egress port have at least one cavity for the passage of fluid therethrough, where each cavity is exposed in a direction facing away from the printed circuit board.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETERMINING AT LEAST ONE OPERATING PARAMETER OF A FILTER OR A FILTER CARTRIDGE ARRANGED IN THE FILTER, AND FILTER CARTRIDGE
A method to determine at least one filter operating parameter. At least one transponder arranged on or in a filter cartridge of the filter is contactlessly queried by a reading device. A transponder response is analyzed to evaluate the operating parameter. The transponder is subject to influences acting on the filter cartridge. As a result of the influences that the transponder is sensitive to, or sensitivity on transparency or damping properties of a transmission path of electronic signals between the transponder and the reading device, a transponder response behavior is changed to a degree detectable by the reading device or a downstream analysis unit which enables a statement to be made about the operating parameter. A device for determining at least one operating parameter of a filter or a filter cartridge arranged on or in the filter, and a filter cartridge are both provided.
Self-contained water filtration system including wireless communication and filter verification and method of using the same
A water filtration housing containing a pressure vessel configured to receive a water filter cartridge; a ring enclosure attachable to an open, top end of the housing enclosure; an interface tower including a user interface; a lid assembly removably attachable to the ring enclosure, the lid assembly including (i) a pressure cap and gasket for maintaining a given pressure in said pressure vessel and (ii) a rotatable lever for disengaging the pressure cap from the pressure vessel thereby releasing pressure therein. A mating system between the lid assembly and ring enclosure prevents the lid assembly from being attached to the ring enclosure in a misaligned fashion. RFID technology may be used for identifying the water filter cartridge installed therein and wireless communication technology (e.g., Wi-Fi) to transmit collected system data (e.g., water usage) to a central location for analysis such that the customer is provided with, for example, operational suggestions.
Filter System and Filter Element
A filter system for liquid media has a filter housing with housing pot and housing cover. The housing pot has a drainage channel with bottom-side drainage opening. A bottom end disk of a filter element has a closure element arranged off-center to a longitudinal filter element axis. The closure element, in predetermined installation position of the filter element, extends seal-tightly across or into the drainage opening. The bottom end disk has a positioning aid corresponding with a cutout of an annular socket of the housing pot. By screwing on the housing cover, the filter element moves with the housing cover axially toward the drainage opening and rotates until positioning aid and cutout engage and lock the filter element relative to the housing pot in a predetermined rotational position where the closure element is axially aligned with the drainage opening. The filter element moves with the housing cover axially into the predetermined installation position.
SECURITY SYSTEM FOR FLUID FILTRATION DEVICE
A security system for a fluid filtration device and, more particularly, a security system that is adapted to pair a filter with a fluid filtration device, log an effectiveness of each individually serialized filter, prevent re-usage of a filter in more than one filtration device and prevent usage of a filter for greater than its preprogrammed lifespan.
FILTER DEVICE
An outflow portion that causes a space inside a filter element to communicate with a space outside a filter case includes an upper surface and a bottom surface that are provided so as to be separated from each other. The back pressure valve includes the valve body having the substantially plate-like shape and the elastic member provided between the bottom surface and the valve body. The valve body is movable between a closed position in which the valve body is in contact with the upper surface, and an open position in which the valve body is not in contact with the upper surface. A recessed portion is provided in a surface, of the valve body, that comes into contact with the upper surface, and an outflow port is formed in a side surface or the upper surface of the outflow portion.
