The invention relates to an arrangement for detecting a damage of a filter fabric (8) of a disc filter (1) at a disc filter unit comprising disc filters. The arrangement comprises a measurement bar (20) comprising two or more microphones (21), a store (45) including stored sound samples, at least one alarming means and a processing arrange-ment (43) for analyzing online sound or sound samples captured by the microphones (21). The processing arrangement (43) is connected to the microphones (21), the store (45) and the at least one alarming means. The invention also relates to a method for detecting a damage of a filter fabric (8) of a disc filter (1) at a disc filter unit.

Filter shells with mounted heaters

A heated filter shell assembly for a fuel filtration system includes a filter shell defining a cavity sized to accommodate at least a portion of a fluid filtration cartridge and a cartridge receiving aperture at a first end. A heating element is disposed within the cavity and is operatively coupled to the filter shell adjacent to a second end of the filter shell. A feed wire is operatively coupled to the heating element at a feed wire first end and is configured for electrical energy receiving communication with an energy source at a feed wire second end.

FILTER ASSEMBLY FOR IMPROVED FILTER CARTRIDGE PLACEMENT AND DETECTION IN A REFRIGERATOR APPLIANCE

A filter assembly with features for improved filter cartridge placement and detection are provided. The filter assembly includes a filter cartridge and a filter housing for receiving the filter cartridge. A contact member extends from the filter housing for engaging the filter cartridge when the filter cartridge in the installed position. A first contact is mounted to the contact member and a second contact is mounted to the filter cartridge such that the first contact and the second contact establish an electrical connection when the filter cartridge in the installed position.

WASTEWATER SCREEN FILTER AND CHAIN TENSIONING SYSTEM

A screen filter for wastewater applications includes a chain tensioning system. The chain tensioning system provides a tensioning force for a screen filter chain. The chain tensioning system includes a chain adjuster device configured to tension the screen filter chain. The chain tensioning system additionally includes a sensor configured to provide a signal representative of a load applied by the chain adjuster; wherein the chain adjuster device is configured to apply a force in a direction that tensions the chain and wherein the signal provided by the sensor is representative of the force.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LEAK DETECTION AT A PARTICULATE FILTER

Methods and systems are provided for diagnosing a gasoline particulate filter in an engine exhaust passage. A pressure-flow relationship of the filter is learned in a low engine speed and high engine speed range. Degradation of the filter is identified based on a substantial separation between the curve fits at the high and low speed range.

Self-cleaning and monitoring filtration system

A filter system of the type having a pressure vessel having an annular filter media therein with a filter wiper piston moved by an air or hydraulic piston actuator. An electrically operated drain valve purges wiped contaminants from the filter media. Pressure sensors provide a signal to a controller of vessel inlet and outlet pressure. Position detectors provide signals to the controller of the drain valve position and filter actuation position. The controller has a computer which computes from the sensor inputs parameters representative, in real time, of entry fluid condition, relative amount of filter contamination, relative amount of filter wear, and relative amount of contaminant removal, and provides signals of the representation to indicators providing visual display thereof.

COMPACT WATER PURIFICATION UNIT

The present apparatus is a compact water filtration unit providing modular, highly customizable water treatment. The standardized sump cylinder structure allows interchangeable accommodation of a wide variety of treatment media, filters, and treatment processes. The top-loading sump cylinders provide ease of servicing, while unique cylinder connectors allow a wide variety of treatment types and sequences without increasing the unit's footprint.

Discharge Control Device for a Filter System, and Filter System having a Discharge Control Device

A discharge control device for a filter system and a filter system for filtering a media flow of a first and a second medium is provided with a collecting chamber that collects the second medium separated from the media flow. A sensor arrangement with a first sensor unit, a second sensor unit, a first shut-off valve having a closure body, and a second shut-off valve is provided. The first sensor unit is operatively connected to the first shut-off valve. The first sensor unit has a float that purely mechanically actuates the closure body of the first shut-off valve. The second shut-off valve is arranged in series in flow communication with the first shut-off valve. The second shut-off valve has an electromagnetically actuatable valve controlled by the second sensor unit as a function of a fill level of second medium in the collecting chamber.

AUTOMATED FLUID HANDLING SYSTEM
