Honeycomb assembly and packaging system
A packaging system for honeycomb assemblies, each including a honeycomb body and reinforcing tube held together by an interference fit or axial compression achieved by thermal expansion coefficient differences between the honeycomb body and reinforcing tube. The reinforcing tube then protects the honeycomb body, facilitating a compact and structurally-strong package.
Honeycomb filter
A honeycomb filter includes a plurality of honeycomb fired bodies. Each of the plurality of honeycomb fired bodies includes an outer wall, a plurality of cells, and porous cell walls. The plurality of cells include exhaust gas introduction cells each having an open end at an exhaust gas inlet side and a plugged end at an exhaust gas outlet side and exhaust gas emission cells each having an open end at the exhaust gas outlet side and a plugged end at the exhaust gas inlet side. Sub-cells adjacent to the outer wall include exhaust gas introduction sub-cells among the exhaust gas introduction cells and exhaust gas emission sub-cells among the exhaust gas emission cells. A total volume of the exhaust gas emission sub-cells adjacent to the outer wall is greater than a total volume of the exhaust gas introduction sub-cells adjacent to the outer wall.
DIESEL OXIDATION CATALYST AND EXHAUST SYSTEM
An oxidation catalyst for treating an exhaust gas from a diesel engine and an exhaust system comprising the oxidation catalyst are described. The oxidation catalyst comprises: a first washcoat region for oxidising carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HCs), wherein the first washcoat region comprises a first platinum group metal (PGM) and a first support material; a second washcoat region for oxidising nitric oxide (NO), wherein the second washcoat region comprises platinum (Pt), manganese (Mn) and a second support material; and a substrate having an inlet end and an outlet end; wherein the second washcoat region is arranged to contact the exhaust gas at the outlet end of the substrate and after contact of the exhaust gas with the first washcoat region.

Debris catcher
A method of discharge and a debris catching device for connection to a discharge pipe of a tank of a septic truck where the device includes a fitting to connect to the pipe and an exposed catcher connected to the fitting such that the catcher has fingers in a spaced relation from an output port of the fitting. The fingers span in spaced relation to each other and allow septage expelled from the fitting to pass through the catcher and onto a field where the truck is moving forward.

Water quality-upgrading device
A water quality-upgrading device includes a container having an inner peripheral wall defining a receiving chamber and two opposite ends respectively defining an inlet and an outlet; at least two water molecule refinement layers disposed in the receiving chamber; two filtering sheets disposed at said inlet and said outlet of the container respectively; and wherein, when water flows into said receiving chamber, the water molecule refinement layers are capable of reducing dimension of water molecules so as to spread the finer water molecules on an oil sludge stained on a substance such that the finer water molecules penetrate into gaps formed between the oil sludge and an external surface of the substance, thereby reducing contact area amount and simultaneously weakening a bonding property between the oil sludge and the external surface of the substance to facilitate removal of the oil sludge off the substance by of a wiping cloth.
DIESEL OXIDATION CATALYST AND EXHAUST SYSTEM
An oxidation catalyst for treating an exhaust gas from a diesel engine, which oxidation catalyst comprises: a first washcoat region comprising a first platinum group metal (PGM), a first support material and a NO.sub.x storage component; a second washcoat region comprising platinum (Pt), manganese (Mn) and a second support material; and a substrate having an inlet end and an outlet end.
