Water and dirt separator
A separator comprises a housing and a separator chamber contained within the housing, an inlet and outlet to the separator chamber and a dividing member for substantially dividing the separator chamber into a first chamber and a second chamber. A flow path is provided between the first and second chambers for allowing flow to circulate between the first and second chambers, and guide means for creating opposing flow paths in the second chamber for slowing flow through the second chamber.
Separator device
A separator device 10 for removing particles from suspension in a fluid including a housing 12, having first and second apertures 96 for ingress and egress of fluid into and out of the housing 12; a first separator chamber 38 disposed at one end of the housing; a second separator chamber 40 disposed at the other end of the housing, and a central chamber disposed between the first and second separator chambers 38, 40, the first and second separator chambers 38, 40 being apertured for ingress and egress of fluid from the central chamber and each containing obstruction means to slow the flow of fluid within the chamber.
REMOVAL DEVICE
The present invention relates to a removal device for removing gas bubbles and/or dirt particles from a liquid in a liquid conduit system or for removing a second liquid from a first liquid in the conduit system. The removal device includes a main channel for a main flow, the main channel having an entry and an exit which are configured to be connected to the conduit system, a housing which defines an inner space, at least one supply channel extending from the main channel to the inner space, at least one return channel extending from the inner space back to the main channel, directly or indirectly via a return chamber, at least one quiet zone in the inner space in which in use the liquid has a substantially smaller velocity than in the main channel. The quiet zone is configured to allow dirt particles or a relatively heavy liquid to settle at a lower end of the housing and/or gas bubbles or a relatively light liquid to rise to an upper end of the housing. The removal device further comprises means to remove dirt particles or relatively heavy liquid, and/or gas or relatively light liquid out of the housing.
Magnetic separator and release tool therefor
A magnetic separator for a central heating system comprises a housing, a separation chamber within the housing, and inlet and outlet ports extending from the housing. The inlet and outlet ports include push-fit connectors having collets surrounding the mouth of each of the inlet and outlet for releasing the connectors. The magnetic separator also has a release tool. The release tool has first and second bearing areas for bearing against the collets of the inlet and outlet connectors, and a handle region for enabling force to be applied, via the bearing areas, to both connectors simultaneously.
Passive grease trap with lift system
A grease trap for separating waste from waste water includes a tank, an inlet in the tank for receiving incoming waste water, a pump discharge for discharge of grease from the tank and a cartridge fitting within the tank. The cartridge includes a pump that is housed in a lower portion of the tank for removing grease from the tank, a plumbing disconnect that provides a communication between the cartridge and the pump discharge when the plumbing disconnect is engaged and optionally terminates the communication if the plumbing disconnect is disengaged and a remote pumper interface distally connected to the pump discharge and including a releasable connection for a pumping truck hose. Methods for separating waste from waste water are also shown and described.
TELESCOPIC FITMENT FOR A MAGNETIC FILTER
A telescopic fitment is provided for connection of a magnetic filter into a central heating system circuit, telescopic fitment including a first connector and a second connector, each of the first and second connectors including a filter connection end for connecting with the magnetic filter and a circuit connection end for connecting with the central heating system circuit, at least one of the first and second connectors including an inner pipe and an outer pipe, the filter connection end being provided on one of the inner or outer pipes and the circuit connection end being provided on the other of the inner or outer pipes, the inner pipe being slideable within the outer pipe for adjusting the position of the circuit connection end with respect to the filter connection end, whilst maintaining a sealed fluid path between the circuit connection end and the filter connection end.
