Apparatus for emissions reduction as a service (ERaaS)
11345455 · 2022-05-31 ·

STAXLINK™ is a duct system and method for conveying exhaust gas from an exhaust pipe of an emissions source to a purification unit during an Emissions Reduction as a Service (ERaaS) operation. Example emissions sources include oceangoing vessels and buildings structures. The duct is temporarily installed onto the emissions source without a crane. The duct is supported by the emissions source itself for the duration of the ERaaS operation.

Flow back separation system and method
11326406 · 2022-05-10 · ·

A flow back system for separating solids from a slurry recovered from a hydrocarbon well. The system includes a V-shaped tank with a first series of baffles configured to cause the settling of solids that are moved by a shaftless auger to a conduit fluidly connected to hydrocyclones mounted over a linear shaker. The overflow from the hydrocyclones is discharged through a second conduit back into the tank for processing by a second series of baffles resulting in a clean effluent. The clean effluent is recirculated in the well.

A bioreactor for a water treatment system includes a tank configured to receive an influent liquid, a separator structure positioned in the tank, the separator structure having a frustoconical shape and defining a downwardly-facing opening proximal to or at a bottom of the separator structure, an interior of the separator structure being in communication with the tank, external to the separator structure, at least via the opening, an aeration vent positioned proximal to a bottom of the tank and configured to direct air into the tank, but not directly into the interior of the separator structure, and an effluent outlet communicating with the interior of in the separator structure, proximal to a top of the separator structure, a relatively clean effluent liquid, in comparison to the influent liquid in the tank, exiting from the separator structure via the effluent outlet.

DESALINATION APPARATUS WITH ELECTRICAL POWER GENERATION
20220135435 · 2022-05-05 ·

An apparatus and method for treating brine water stored in tank batteries or otherwise produced during oil and gas production. The apparatus is portable and can be moved from one location to another to treat the brine water. Once the apparatus is in position, the brine water is pumped out of the tank and sprayed onto heating plates to produce steam. The brine water not evaporated by the plates is collected and filtered, and any precious metals or valuable minerals may be extracted therefrom. Steam generated from the heating process may be used to power an electrical generator, which generator may provide electrical power to operate the apparatus.

Apparatus and method for recycling blackwater and greywater at oil and gas well sites

A bioreactor for a water treatment system includes an aerator tank configured to receive an influent liquid, and a clarifier positioned in the aerator tank, the clarifier having a generally conical shape and defining a downwardly-facing opening. An interior of the clarifier is in communication with the aerator tank, external to the clarifier, at least via the downwardly-facing opening, and wherein the clarifier is positioned non-concentrically with the aerator tank. The bioreactor further includes a plurality of aeration vents positioned proximal to a bottom of the tank and configured to direct air into the aerator tank, and an effluent outlet positioned in the clarifier. A relatively clean effluent liquid, in comparison to the influent liquid in the aerator tank, exits from the clarifier via the effluent outlet.

Vertical gas diffusing device

An assembly for diffusing gas from a first slurry having an open-bottomed housing having an opening for conveying a second slurry from inside of the housing to outside of the housing. The assembly includes one or more intake conduits extending through an upper mid-portion of the housing for receiving the first slurry, and a gas diffusing channel formed in the housing for conveying diffused gas from the liquid from inside of the housing to outside of the housing. The assembly includes a dumping assembly having a dump valve used to convey fluid from an upper layer of fluid located inside of the housing to outside of the housing. The assembly may include a recirculation pump and a suction conduit coupled to the pump for pumping fluid (dyed fluid) from inside of the housing. The assembly is configured to be partially submerged in liquid, such as in a tank.

A separator system and method may provide a four-way separator that may separate a material and remove a hazardous material. The hazardous material may include gas and sand that may he removed by the four-way separator. The separator system and method may further provide a main unit that may include three chambers or recirculation hoppers, an auger sand extractor, and a strap tank. The separator system and method may provide a faster rig-up time and may be exclusively driven by hydraulics.

Hydrogen sulfide mitigation methods and systems

The methods and embodiments described herein involve installation of a gas sparging manifold into crude oil storage tanks, which facilitates removal of hydrogen sulfide (H.sub.2S) from bulk crude oil. Hydrogen sulfide stripped from the crude oil is scavenged via a forced-draft scavenging gas into a scavenging duct, and passes through an in-line filter. An alternative embodiment can be adapted for mobile use in a tank trailer/tank car capable of being towed by a tractor truck or locomotive.

METHOD FOR DEWATERING AN OPERATING SUBSTANCE, DEWATERING DEVICE AND OPERATING-SUBSTANCE SUPPLY DEVICE
20220090569 · 2022-03-24 ·

A method for dewatering an operating substance, more particularly a fuel, preferably during the operation of a vehicle, more particularly a rail vehicle, includes conveying an operating substance from an operating substance tank. Water present on or in the fuel is first collected in a water container, and water is conveyed, in chronological order, from the water container back to the operating substance tank, then to an exhaust system and/or from the operating substance tank to the exhaust gas system. A dewatering device for an operating substance, more particularly a fuel for a vehicle, more particularly a rail vehicle, includes a water container, in which water present on or in the fuel is collected. The dewatering device has a dewatering conduit or line which runs from the water container to an operating-substance tank of the vehicle and/or to an exhaust-gas system of the vehicle.
