EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION FILTER
An exhaust gas purification filter comprises a base material part, a catalyst layer, and sealing parts. The base material part comprises porous partition walls. The catalyst layer is supported on pore walls of the partition walls. The partition walls supporting the catalyst layer comprise 10% or less of pores having a pore diameter of 50 μm or more. In the pore diameter distribution in the partition walls supporting the catalyst layer, the pore diameter D50 at which the cumulative pore volume becomes 50% is 10 μm or more. The pore diameter D50, and the pore diameter D10 at which the cumulative pore volume becomes 10%, satisfy the relationship of the following Expression 1.
(D50−D10)/D50≤0.9 Expression 1
MULTI-LAYERED OR MULTIPLE POLYMER FINE FIBER WEBS
A material comprising unique nanofiber layers, and more particularly, this invention relates to a method for creating a material that is made from multiple unique nanofiber layers that can be utilized as filter media among other applications. The nanofiber layers have a plurality of fine fibers with an average diameter of less than 1 micron. In embodiments, the fine fibers are formed from a polymer. The material can be created according to a method in which the fine fiber strands are formed from a polymer melt or a polymer solution. The fine fibers can then be layered on top of one another to form materials such as filter media.
MORINGA OLEIFERA AUGMENTED FILTER MEDIA
The present disclosure describes an augmented medium for water purification including a medium that is treated with Moringa oleifera coagulant protein (MOCP), as well as uses and methods of making the same. The present disclosure also describes water filters including such augmented medium, as well as methods of purifying water by using such filters.
Filter cloth for bag filter, method for producing the same, and bag filter
The prevent invention addresses the problem of providing a filter cloth for a bag filter, which has excellent collection efficiency, has excellent collection efficiency, provides low pressure drop and is resistant to clogging, and also has excellent dust-off ability; a method for producing the same; and a bag filter. As a means for resolution, a nonwoven fabric containing an ultrafine fiber having a fiber diameter D of 200 to 2,000 nm is laminated on a base material to form a filter cloth for a bag filter.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SCREENING
A screening system for solid removal includes a housing and a screen positioned within the housing. A flow inlet is operatively connected to an interior chamber defined by the screen. A sump is downstream from the flow inlet for capturing solids that do not pass through the screen. A flow outlet is downstream from the screen in fluid communication with the flow inlet. A moveable cleaning assembly may be positioned either within a perimeter of the screen, around the perimeter of the screen or both. The moveable cleaning assembly is moveable with respect to the screen.
FACE MASK
A face mask containing a network of conductive activated carbon meso-fibers crosslinked with a crosslinking agent bonded to a insulative polymeric micro-fiber based purification element. The purification element is captured between two ridged porous elements and contacted to the face by a biocompatible flexible polymeric seal. Optionally the front cover attaches to a main frame of the mask through a system of sliding locks that are coupled with bayonet latch mechanisms. The face mask attaches to the head of a wearer through a harness that couples with the sliding locks or alternatively with a biocompatible adhesive.
Method for producing a filter medium, and a filter medium
In a method for producing a filter medium, at least one substrate layer of a nonwoven comprising cellulose fibers and/or synthetic polymer fibers is provided and a fiber layer of polymer fibers is deposited on the at least one substrate layer. Prior to depositing the fiber layer, a solvent is applied to the at least one substrate layer, wherein a material of the substrate layer and/or a material of the fiber layer is soluble in the solvent. A filter medium produced by the method has material-fused connections at crossing points of the polymer fibers and/or cellulose fibers of the substrate layer with the polymer fibers of the fiber layer.
SINTERED METAL OBJECT COMPRISING METAL FIBERS
A sintered metal object comprises metal fibers in a nonwoven web arrangement. The metal fibers comprise stainless steel fibers having a duplex microstructure. The duplex microstructure is a mixed microstructure of austenite and ferrite. The stainless steel fibers are bonded at at least part of their contacting points by means of sinter bonds.
GRANULAR FILTRATION MEDIA MIXTURE AND USES IN WATER PURIFICATION
Provided is a granular filtration media comprising a mixture of granular filtration media and less than 5% of nanofibers based on the dry weight, method of making the same and uses of the same for removing contaminants from water, including metals, heavy metals, synthetic or natural organic matters, colloidal or suspended particles to improve the chemical safety and purity of water for the purpose of water purification, specifically, one embodiment of the present invention disclosed is use of the granular filtration media to remove particulate lead from high pH water.
SPUNBONDED WEB COMPRISING POLYLACTIC ACID FIBERS
Spunbonded electret webs comprising polylactic acid fibers, in which at least some of the polylactic acid fibers are meltspun, drawn, charged fibers that include charging additive; and, methods of making such fibers and webs.
