Provided is a method for treatment of gas mixtures and an apparatus for carrying out a method for treatment of raw gas mixtures. More particularly, there is provided a method and an apparatus for treatment of gas mixtures, such as biogas or flare gas, and in particular to a method and an apparatus for removing contaminants, in particular H.sub.2S, from a gas mixture containing CH.sub.4 and H.sub.2S.

PROCESS FOR CONTROLLING AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEMS

A computerized process for controlling an air purification system comprises a bioreactor in particular, the system may comprise a photobioreactor for treating urban air, in particular for CO.sub.2 removal. The system may be connected to the sanitation network and/or to a (drinking and/or municipal) water supply network. The connection and the drainage system may in particular maintain a fluidic isolation between the two types of networks. The system may optionally be equipped with measurement sensors and/or actuators that make it possible to control the internal activity of the bioreactor. Various control modes of a grid of bioreactors are described. Data on the status of the connected networks (e.g. water, sanitation, cooling, heating networks) contribute to the control of a network of geolocalized bioreactors. The software aspects are described. The supervision of the grid of bioreactors may in particular be carried out remotely via onboard communication devices.

COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING ODOR, CONTAINING ODORLESS MICROORGANISMS
20180303963 · 2018-10-25 ·

Disclosed is a coating composition for preventing odor. The coating composition may include one or more types of odorless microorganisms selected from the group consisting of Caulobacter vibrioides, Bradyrhizobium diazoefficiens, Bradyrhizobium daqingense and Methylobacterium brachiatum or a culture solution thereof. Further provided is a method for preventing odor, and the method may include applying the coating composition for preventing odor. When a biofilm is formed from the microorganisms in the coating composition by coating an object on which an odor-causing microorganism can live, the inflow and the inhabitation of external microorganisms generating odor may be significantly blocked, thereby enabling odor to be effectively prevented.

MOVABLE EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR AUXILIARY DIESEL ENGINES
20180306078 · 2018-10-25 ·

A mobile emissions control system having an emission capturing system and emission control system is provided for diesel engines operated on ocean-going ships at-berth. The emissions control system may be mounted on a towable chassis or mounted on a barge, allowing it to be placed alongside ocean-going ships at-berth. A crane or boom transfers a duct of the emissions capturing system extending from the emissions control system to the ship to capture exhaust from its engine. Alternatively, the system may be mounted on an automated guided vehicle (AGV) equipped with a tower and a crane. The crane mounted on the AGV then lifts the duct forming part of the emissions capture system to the ship's exhaust system to capture exhaust from the ship's diesel engine and transfers it to the emissions control system, which cleans the exhaust and then passes clean air into the atmosphere through an exhaust outlet.

METHOD FOR BIOLOGICAL REMOVAL OF SULFIDES FROM WATER
20180282191 · 2018-10-04 ·

A method is presented for biological removal of contaminants like sulfide from ground waters and industrial waters. Sulfide oxidizing bacteria by biological oxidation oxidizes sulfides in water to produce soluble sulfates. The present invention uses a packed bed bioreactor configuration that uses packing material to maximize the concentration of sulfide oxidizing bacteria.

INDUSTRIAL VOC PROCESSING SYSTEM
20180264406 · 2018-09-20 ·

The present invention provides an industrial volatile organic compounds (VOC) processing system that includes a first phase processing structure, a second phase processing structure, a sensor detection device and a computer. The first phase processing structure includes a spraying chamber having an array of sprinklers for circularly spraying lytic enzyme solution to the VOC. The second processing structure includes a biodegradation chamber wherein microbial nutrient solution is circularly used for nourishing microbes that gnaw the VOC particles. The sensor detection device includes two detectors, one placed in the inlet side, and the other one placed in the outlet side of the system, detecting the content of the organic gas and sending the data to the computer. The computer calculates and compares in a real time the ratio of the contents of the organic gas in the inlet side and the outlet side. The system according to the present invention effectively eliminate VOC by first applying lytic enzyme solution to VOC and then letting certain microbes gnaw the VOC particles. In this invention, both the lytic enzyme solution and the microbial nutrient solution are circularly used.
